...a world without religion.

How do you know that non-human apes aren't religious? Have you ever spoken to one of them them?

>tfw you will never be an immortal being overwatching the emergence of modern humans from homo habilis

Only think close was them hitting a tree they filled with rocks and hooting a bunch.

hopefully some other world out there doesnt have a religion and will come in their super advanced space ships and save us from destroying ourselves by inducting us into the galactic alliance.

Religion seems to have been the driving force behind human progress throughout history until fairly recently.
Although that is difficult to decide on entirely. As far as we can tell the oldest human construct was made 12,000 years ago and was likely some sort of religious temple or worship site.
In general temples and tributes to the gods have been all but the entirety of early human archeological finds. Even cities seem to be built around religious sites.
Perhaps stating that religion drove progress is wrong, but it's certainly been the glue that unified early humans and allowed them to progress. This has been true basically until very recently. Previously countries more or less formed their identities through religion first and foremost, with a peoples and culture being created in the wake of their religion. But the rise of nationalism ties people to their culture and not a religion or creed, which is still a byproduct of religion first and foremost.

Would early humans have ever banded together on a large scale without religion? Perhaps, but probably not. Religion established legitimacy throughout history. Kings and Pharaohs and Emperors solidified their rule with the backing of the gods. Small tribes can establish legitimacy through lineage and familiarity, but over a large scale that's a poor and unfeasible way to garner the loyalty of the masses. Anything that would have arisen without religion would have been doomed to a short rule, as the only thing that could have arisen would have been warlords and despots.
Neither have ever driven progress or been a source of long, stable rule.

Imagine a world without anime, video games and neets.

Yeah because learning from human history, those with superior technological advances just come by to help other people out. Get a load of this guy.

>perfidious albion

No thanks.

Hey what better way to bring the human race together then our whole species being enslaved/ killed off to near extinction by a foreign invaders from another galaxy?

think about it!

religion spontaneously developed just like the rest of human culture, it hinges on how the human mind works individualy and collectively, it couldnt not have come into existance in human collectives, its like a chicken and egg thing

Nope still wouldn't work, that same thinking should have been applied to the Central Americans, Africans, and Asians continental regions. Reality would be that many different groups would emerge. Some would help the Aliens, others would fight it, certain groups would wait until the war was dragging on and try to take power and last but not least those trying to make a profit from it. Only thing that could possibly stop something like that is Steven Seagal, but other than that. Would be a disaster.

Imagine christcucks without autism

sounds like the start of a sick sifi movie.
regardless, a world without religion is unattainable by referring to history/humanities. This in my mind is a whole new style of study. to go back in time (not literally) and study the minds of those who first imaged gods/higher being. it be like archaeology/psychology/history/religious studies/ anthropology/sociology and then some all tied into one field of study. even then its hard to imagine how we could extract such data to allow us to see how our past selves developed such a concept of higher being/gods

Precisely.
"If god did not exist, it would be necessary to create him."

Humans without religion equals humans who do not progress. Although it's fanciful to think of humans who develop just the same without religion and all its vices but are otherwise still humans, that's just preposterous.
Everything good about religion is a result of the good of humanity. The ability to come together and set aside differences for a common goal. The ability to dedicate yourself to something bigger than yourself.
And of course, the worst of humanity. Our xenophobia and vindictiveness, our perversion and penchant for mischief, our inner desire to feel superior.

Humans without religion simply aren't humans. And whether you believe in a deity or deities or not, everyone has a god. Everyone has some person, some idea, some organization or activity that they are all about, that they are dedicated to.
It's just part of being human. You may not be a fanatic towards your particular god or gods, but the only people without some god in their life are the ones dead or about to be so.

Religion is a result of how humans interact with the world. It is one of the effects of the underlying cause and curiosity that is human sapience.

imagine a world where the nazis won ww2

I don't think it would be that hard. Look at indigenous people for guidances on that or do something controversial and raise a community with not outside contact but give them all the education that we have and see if they can come to the conclusion. If you are referring to religions that are dominant today, than yes that would be next to impossible.
