yeah it's survived an entire 100 years now, how amazing

>USA exists
That refutes you.

Democracy? Debatable, but possible.
Liberal democracy? Don't make me laugh.

Perhaps before the internet. A (((democracy))) is better since people will blame their fellow countrymen for all the bad shit the puppets say and do

>most effective system of governance

Literally meaningless statement
Are you a STEM fag by chance?

t. can't even land on the moon

>a system where the opinion of Cletus who fuck his cousin and can barely read has the same weight as a guy who has three PhD.
Democracy was a mistake.

>he thinks having 3 PhDs is a sign of credibility
>not a sign of reinforced, peer-supported autism

>he thinks Cletus is retarded because he's rural
>doesn't realize academia is literally the most self-selecting and inbred environment possible

This attitude is literally why Trump won

t. Hillary

Yes, a college educated conservative is more important than a rural conservative dumbfuck. Same goes for Dem voters.

>Not Fucking Your cousin
Take a load of this Nerd

>muh college

There's no way you actually went to college if you're this spooked by it.

Oh boy a guy who is in debt for ten years and living with mommy is more important than someone working and getting by
Epic meme

>he's defending Cletus instead of the system of Democracy

You keep try to convince yourself that 6 inches is a big dick. It's just average.

That sort of thinking never ends well.

Remind me why Cletus loses his right to self-determination again?

How many people who get actually useful degrees move back in with mum?

The attitudes of Cletus's and Jamals and their votes are the reason why America went to shit.
Soviets managed to get into space before the Americans with their gerontocratic authoritarian government, and Venus and Mercury before us. And China and poo in the loos have been in space afterwards too.

>muh war on cohl

Fuck off and die already.

if he's capable of it he doesn't need it as a legal right, but would naturally obtain it.

...

The weak suffer what they must

Interesting. Sample size and methodology?

Because he's fucking his cousins. The only reason we can't instill a system of government where non-meth smoking non-cousin fucking people get to vote, is because that corrupt ahit is illegal/frowned upon so never admitted to or easily discovered.

>Sovie--

[collapse]

Looks like it's from this report pewsocialtrends.org/2016/05/24/for-first-time-in-modern-era-living-with-parents-edges-out-other-living-arrangements-for-18-to-34-year-olds/

>he's too autistic to realize that equalizing Cletus with Chauncy is an inherent defense of democracy

Name an industry that's creating economic opportunity in Appalachia that isn't coal or selling Oxy, I'll wait

Liberal democracy doesn't prevails because it's a more effective system of governance, it's prevails because it's an efficient killing machine.

That's what everyone who is antilliberal gets wrong. They think that because people who live in liberal democracies are more effeminate and naive they will be easy to beat in a fight. It turns out those effeminate guys are not afraid of reporting fuckups in the military to higher offices and them solving the problems, while in authoritarian regimes, criticism if tantamount to treason.

Since wars are major clusterfucks where the side that makes less mistakes win, and liberal democracies make less mistakes in war, they end up beating everyone else and prevailing since the XIXth century.

Why is it so terrible anyway? Plenty of cultures do this kind of thing, and it's not seen as one bit of an issue. Family helping family.

>needing mental gymnastics to support your flawed system

Death camps for all appalachians.

Not all people living in rural areas are fucking their cousins or can't barely read like Cletus, though.

See

I'm not the one who implied it was a bad thing

>America won the space race
xD

Capitalism created the two generation nuclear family, if we collectively decide to live in hogans the entire economy will have to be restructured

>you should hang around after you cross the finish line

And capitalism didn't make things such as rent out of control expensive?

>claim scientific achievement as a byproduct of Democracy
>Soviets, a non-democratic nation, achieved more space travel achievements just so they make America look stupid
>only reason why America went to the moon was a response to that, which programs like NASA only got approved on by strong-officials ingrained in the post-WW2 and early Cold War government who didn't give a shit what the plebs had to say about kick-starting the programs before they occurred (they would've probably bitch that it wasn't getting spent on more job creation or about how it was raising their taxes).
>we still rely on Russia, an oligarchic country to get to our 300 bilion dollar Space station, despite our President saying that their hacking of the DNC emails were enough to tumple our democracy down in our recent election

You didn't rent in a hogan, the entire extended family lived there for free

what the fuck is this shit?

>our President saying that their hacking of the DNC emails were enough to tumple our democracy down in our recent election
If we applied this logic to what the Russians did, wouldn't The Washington Post be guilty of destroying democracy when they broke Watergate?

It's called a chart. You read it from left to right chronologically. The red is Soviet Russia (bad guys) and the Blue is US (good guys).

Need any other help? On the left is an ascending list of technological improvements.

I'm saying that rent and college tuition as it is now is out of control.

Did your cousin reject you m8?

>posts a campaign where the UK, whose Empire was tied to the remaining sovereign power the Monarchy had, won, whose authority allowed them to get British Indian and Australian troops to support them
>nevermind the fact that Nazi Germany was steamrolling democracies till the end of the war and kept the British (whose proles didn't want to initially participate at first and was apathetic when the Germans were violating the treaty of Versailles) at bay.
>never mind the British voter wouldn't have gotten furhter involved after the fall of France and it becoming apparent that there will be a lot of bloodshed if it weren't for them being aware that the Soviets, who they knew was lead by an autocrat who had no problem wasting off a large chunk of his population for the greater good, would preoccupy and deplete them
>nevermind losing the Vietnam war because the public wanted to stop communies but didn't like seeing the sights on tv, and the fact that our generals' strategies were having the causality ratio look nice and shiny for the public
>implying the prevailing voting base in any democracy can even take criticism by their leaders and generals if they go against their zeitgeists
>implying those leaders and figures wouldn't have a harder time persuading the general public than they would do with most historic non-democratic rulers

how can a statement be "literally meaningless" my friend?

>we still rely on Russia, an oligarchic country to get to our 300 bilion dollar Space station, despite our President saying that their hacking of the DNC emails were enough to tumple our democracy down in our recent election

You're blaming the US for not building a whole new space station in what, four months?

true

>A system where those PhDs can be in gender studies, black history and social justice

We need to go back.

Idk about rent because to be honest I haven't studied it enough, however; the rising tuition prices aren't a failure of capitalism, but of government intervention.

> 1961 -- soviet man went to space
> a fucking riot bc of no food in Novocherkassk

Yeah, they had pretty progressive system.
Also
> impying stones from space are more imortant than well-being of people

Imagine two men mining, both are attempting to find gemstones, the first man has had a head start on mining and pulls out some gemstones, eventually, halfway to some very brilliant gemstones the second man states that when he finds a ruby he will have won the race of gemstones, upon finding the ruby the man declares how he has completely dominated the opposition and goes home with his gems, the other man dies a few years later.

At the end of the caves was an incredible cave filled with incredibles gemstones that could've solved an incredible ammount of problems, and both men had developed brilliant inventions for their mining that were usable in day to day life.

Did the Second man do a good thing? The thing that makes me sad about the space race is that it could've been extended, it could've brought us so much more than it already did.

This post is literally an ebin reddit meme.

> live in a free society where you can safely post on Veeky Forums and no KGB or Roskomnadzor would prosecute you for what you said
> enjoing market economy where you can obtain any good you want and with no fucking deficites of toilet paiper
> DEMOCRACY IS NOT WORKING WE TOOK A WRONG TURN

anons, why are you so retarded?

No because that would be action of a domestic free press and not a foreign country?

> live in a free society where you can safely post on Veeky Forums and no KGB or Roskomnadzor would prosecute you for what you said
Russia and Turkey are technically democracy, and see how free their press is.

> enjoing market economy where you can obtain any good you want and with no fucking deficites of toilet paiper
China and Saudi Arabia too and they aren't democracy

You see, liberal democracy implies you have both democracy AND individual and market freedoms. So neither Russia and Turkey nor China and Saudi Arabia are liberal democracies

I never advocated for Gommunism, but I'm saying that Democracy isn't the only system where central science funding can happen.
NSA spies on Americans and collects your data. Most praised functional democracies today (such as Canada and Northern European ones) censor certain speech as well.
>enjoing market economy where you can obtain any good you want and with no fucking deficites of toilet paiper
Doesn't pertain to Democracy. Arab oilshekel states have most of their citizenry rich enough to participate in mass consumerism and provided with sufficient commodities. Democracy doesn't really exist in practice in Japan, similar like how it doesn't run in Russia and Turkey, and they have sufficient necessities.

>most effective
Spooky

>Russia and Turkey are technically democracy

Wrong. They're anocracies.

Too bad the USSR doesn't exist anymore, I think we know who won the real race.

Fuckyuyama!

>It's almost as if Democracy can only work when there's no class distinction. Where everyone can live in neighborhoods that don't have to lock their doors because compensation is fair and the workers get the fruits of their labor through a democratically owned economy.

>yfw socialism only works when the world doesn't want to fuck it up.

Daily reminder that democratization increases GDP per capita by about 20% in the long run: economics.mit.edu/files/11227

That's quite the non sequitur
Care to expound on it?

>Too bad the USSR doesn't exist anymore
THAT'S WHAT WE WANTED YOU TO THINK!

I don't know if I'd say "effective" senpai. I think you meant to say fascism.
But it's the best to live under.

>that methodology

I almost spat in disgust. I'm sure Barro pissed himself laughing when he read it.
