Rightful Eternal Anglo Clay

Change the face to black, and yes.

Yes. Yes it is.

Here you go.

Colonialism shouldn't be a thing in the current year.

nah, the falklanders want to remain part of the british empire, that's more important than geography

but looking at this as an outsider with no stake in either side of the conflict I don't understand why the brits really want to hold onto it that badly, don't get me wrong I understand why they defended it, but why do they still hold onto it now? Maintaining such a remote outpost that is of no military value (in this day and age) seems pointless to me, if the Argentinians want it so badly then why not just sell it to them.

I don't know but is funny to see the double standarts many people have with this.

They support the UK in the Falklands Conflict but in the same time they support Russia in the Crimea conflict when is pretty much the exact same conflict.
The only valid argument would be that Argentina lose the war wich is very different to say they don't have a clay in the Islands

Because the Falklands are ethnically British and Crimea is ethnically Russian.

And Crimea was actually part of Russia (and even the RSFSR) for quite a long period of time.

And many Americans are still ethnically British so? Should Britain reclaim the US? We don't live in a world where countries are determined by your ethnic... that ideology fail during WWII

THIS is accurate

The islands population is like 1000 inhabitants of British decent. Hardly "colonization."

I don't care about the island, but don't you dare to call us black faggot

Is term "melanin rich" an acceptable alternative?

When those ethnic Anglos/Russians WANT to be part of the Commonwealth/Russian Federation, they get to.
The ethnic Russians of Crimea wanted to join the RF. Who's some fat cunt in Kiev to tell them they cannot?

there is absolutely nothing wrong with colonialism. imperialism is however frowned upon and the only ones guilty of this in this particular saga is Argentina.

Sorry but no, maybe if you say something like "of mediterranean skin", it would be more credible

It's a meme. I'm an argie and I've never seen politicians argue about the falklands nor have I seen them use them as part of a campaign platform. I hear more about them on the internet than irl.
Literally the only reason people think we are obsessed with them is because we are an irrelevant country and it's a conflict involving a first world country, so people only here about argentina in relation to the conflict.

hear*

While it's true that we don't talk about it 24/7, you have to admit that, no matter where you live or go, you are going to see shitty propaganda about this in every corner of the city (this is specially true for the last 15 years)

What propaganda? Maybe some graffiti.

British and Americans are completely clueless about Argentina which is baffling considering all the shared history particularly with Britain during the 1800s-1945 alliance of sorts we had with them, over a million British descendants made their way down here... just to say that the two countries were such close allies that the only Harrod's store outside of London was in Buenos Aires should raise some eyebrows.

Yet when I was in Japan people knew more about Argentina than most people on this board. They spoke to me about tango, piazzolla, fangio, messi...

People in this board have this distorted view of Argentina, I guess it must be the geographic distance... nobody here gives a shit about the islands... politicians just make the obligatory mention of it every year on the UN assembly because the claim is in the Constitution. It's a formality, not something they really give a shit about.

It's literally non-news down here, nobody gives a shit.

I agree. When will most Argentinians go back to Europe?

Falklanders hardly count as a native population, they are about 1500 employees of the Falkland Islands Company, mostly from Santa Helena and Ascencion. The argentines respected their private property and even offered them citizenship to this day.

>w-we are not m-mad guise, hehe.

Lol ok Argie

> wanting to be a citizen of Argentina
O I am laffin.

>When will a select few Argentinians who arrived after 1945 go back to Europe?

>select few
Most European immigrants came before WW2.
7 million of them to be exact, the largest migratory wave of Europeans after the USA, in a country that had only 500 thousand people,
