>Manage to not only maintain but expand your families realm
>Get bullied by everyone else for being inbred
>Maintain the HRE crown for generations
>Pr*ssians don't care about legal inheritance and just invade shit
>F*ench don't care about legal inheritance and just invade shit
>Years later
>People go on about how gr8 the Pr*ssians and F*ench were when all they did was invade people like assholes without a legitimate claim on the land they're taking

Habsburgs were without a doubt the greatest

Charles University in Bohemia is older you fuggen noobz :^)

Dayum, I didn't know. Bologna has everyone beaten anyways, though.

Bohemia.
>only civilised Slavs
>was a kingdom before it joined HRE
>Prague is the most beautiful city in Europe
>perfectly located at the centre of Europe, ideal for a pan-European empire's capital

Italians absolutely rape everyone when it comes to old universities

>>was a kingdom before it joined HRE
It wasn't, Bohemia is a kingdom since 1212 when Friedrich II. and the Czech king had a bromance. Czechs helped him to defeat Milano and to elect him emperor after which Friedrich made Bohemia officially a kingdom. Bohemia was a part of the HRE long before that.

What was that, OP? I didn't quite catch that

>French
>political
>philosopher

>Czechs helped him to defeat Milano
Micháš si Přemysla Otakara a Vladislava

It's a very conventional pick, but Brandenburg.

>Be habsburgs
>use cowardly heritage rules to prompt their land
>abandon your native lands of Habsburg in the Aarau region
>out of sheer luck become emperors

Either Lorraine, , Franche-Comté or Bar.

>I swoon for 7 foot men, here have some Peter so you to shall see

Bologna is still older.

What a cute coat of arms.
This lion is in love with leopard sisters.

>Pomerania
>Mecklenburg, including Lubeck
>arguably Brandenburg and East Pomerania
>Lusatia part of Saxony
>Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia (including Wohlau and Liegnitz)
>arguably Carinthia, Styria, and Carniola
So, which?

First off nice numbers.
Second off, thats exactly what a fucking pleb prussaboo would say. How can you compare north alpine, great palaces and lakes to such a meme as Belgium. Explain yourself

Habsburgs survived only due to luck and absolute lack of honor, though.

The fact that those lands were inhabited primarily by Slavs for a brief period of time following the Migration period does not make them Slavic during the period of the Holy Roman Empire

Pomerania and Meklemburg were ruled by Slavic dynasties as well.
So basically only the arguable parts (with East Pomerania being not arguable) are those that fits your complaint.
>for a brief period of time
>implying that Slavs disappeared from there

holy fuck look at that mess

I was mainly referring to the arguable ones anyway. Also true the Slavs may not have disappeared, but the Germans eventually formed the majority of the population in almost all of the places you mentioned (except obviously Bohemia, parts of Silesia, etc etc)

Veev luh frons

Tuscany and Bavaria

The Slavic population became an integral part of the German people.

They "became" German though, and that's what matters

Bohemia of course.
