Possible to invest money if you're stupid?

Possible to invest money if you're stupid?

I'm stupid but I got some money, how do I invest it and get rich by it?

I always thought the idea of investment is like putting everything on red in a casino, how the fuck do you earn a living from investment and not get bankrupt?

bump dunno if dead board or takes some time

nah, your thread is just retarded as shit

why?

Do research into the thing that seemed promising. Claiming to be stupid is just a sad excuse to not put in any work. Might as well go to the casino and put everything on 26.

Read The Intelligent Investor and learn the difference between Investing and Speculation. If you invest properly you'll rarely lose money.

I'm not sure if it requires a certain level of intelligence to make a fortune investing, but it doesn't require a certain skill set to be good at it.

Moreover, stay away from Jews like Timothy Kike -- they're fucking retards that can only lease Lambos because they spew proverbs and sell overpriced DVDs and programs.

You may want to use bondora its a pan-EU, p2p investment comapny. I use it for years without problem. Easy in - easy out.

Nah im autistic and low education with uneducated job so yeah im intelligent enough to know im plain stupid.

I do however have money so I want to invest it and maybe get rich by it but for me it feels like gambling in the casino, how do you even know it gets more money? it sounds to me like a money tree and those do not exist afaik

thanks I googled this and I see its a book. Will this book learn me how to study? I dont usually read books fml

meant to say learn to invest*

Because you look at trends. You look at what has happened in the past. What the relations are with these spikes and then decide what the probability is that it will either go up or down. Good example, tomorrow the 3rd biggest exchange of China will start trading ethereum and you can see that, even before it happened, people are driving up the price of ethereum to grab some of it, because they expect: even if i buy at a premium NOW, i will get some returns once the exchange is open to ethereum. I knew that since saturday and thus have a lot of ether that has already seen a price increase of 20%.

Anticipation and research brought me these gains. This is even possible without education.

Thank you for your reply.

So why doesnt everybody do this?

Yes, it will. In my opinion it's rather easy to read. I consider it more holy than The Torah.

Try and get the most recent edition. It has commentary after each chapter which explains how to apply the principles set forth in the book in modern scenarios.

thank you that commentary will probably help alot since i cant keep my attention for too long and need tldr for everything

This. Too many people fail to understand how relatively simply investing is.

Well, lots of people are doing this. But the smarter ones knew it even before me, meaning they could've had bigger gain and have already left the ship with their profit. Some are getting the news late and dont expect their profit to be worth the risk, should it suddenly drop in price (since they have to buy it at a higher price than i did). It is all based on analysing what other players would do and prepare a strategy based on that.

But also note that there are a lot of different coins and some cant spend their money because they have to take a loss at one coin to buy another. I was one of those, i couldn't buy golem when it was at a low price, because i would have to take losses to take another risk of golem gaining in price.

Just force yourself to read 50 pages each day. After each chapter, write notes on what has been said.

Well. I failed to see that pivx would rise as much as it did. It's still quite tricky to understand the ins and outs of every single coin. Btw, thanks for helping this fella understand something about investing. This is one of the more useful discussions on Veeky Forums. May great coin gains be ever in your path of life!

Be careful with coins, buddy. I invest in more traditional vehicles and don't understand the intricacies of Crypto, but feel like the risk involved is too great to justify the possible reward.

I am careful, the same thing that apply to standard investing apply to cryptocurrencies as well. Currently $700-900 profit on ethereum over the last 2-3 days. It is morw intensive, since you should react sooner than you would in normal investing, since the market is so volatile. That being said, I will heed your advice, there was no indication of hat coin to rise (at least to my knowledge) and if that's the case, better to assume a pump and dump and not get stuck with coins worth less than you originally paid.
