The verse 8:12 was revealed about the Battle of Badr, which occurred in Arabia in the early seventh century. A battle in which the pagans of Makkah traveled more than 200 miles to Madinah with an army of about 1000 to destroy Muslims. Muslims had suffered severe persecutions and torture for 13 years in the city of Makkah. And now that they had fled Makkah and found a sanctuary in the city of Madinah, they were once again threatened. Muslim Army was only about 300 strong. God gave the order to Muslims to fight to defend their lives and faith. The enemy came to them with the intent to kill Muslims. It was a war to defend themselves and their Faith. And when you fight, you strive to kill the enemy during the fight.

A more accurate translation of the verse 8:57 would be "When you capture the (unbelievers) during a fight, teach them a lesson so that they thereafter will always be aware of the threat of your power".

The verse 8:67 was meant as an instruction for Muhammad only and not for all Muslims

The verses 8:59-60 are historical verses which gave Muslims permission to fight the enemy, which was hostile to the Muslim community. Their goal was to exterminate, kill all Muslims. All one needs to do is read the verse that proceeds. The next verse (Quran 8:61), Allah orders Muslims that if the enemy were to "incline to peace", then Muslims have incline to peace as well. But, if the enemy does not want peace, then Allah gives Muslims to engage the enemy until there is no more persecution against Muslims.

I don't see how the verse 9:30 encourages Muslims to fight physically. It is said that Allah, but not the Muslims, may destroy the Jews and the Christians. By the way, Jews in general don’t believe that Ezra is the "Son of God".

The verse 9:123 gives details on who to confront – that are near to the Muslims. Those who are hostile and are at front to cause harm to the believers. The verse states that the fighting should be waged against those hostile enemies who are near to the Muslims. "Being near", may mean, could be taken in terms of the place, that is, the enemies who live nearer to where the Muslims resided, 1400 years ago. That they should be fought against first so to eliminate the threat. Nowhere in this verse does it give permission to kill innocents. Again, this is prohibited in Islam. “God does not forbid you, with regard to those who do not fight you on account of your religion nor drive you out of your homes, to treat them with goodness and to be just to them; truly, God loves those who are just.” – Quran 60:8
