It was either Judea for years of fighting crazy zealots who'd fuck themselves over twice as hard just to fuck you up or Rome itself. The struggle to put the plebs in their place lasted all the way up to the Borgia.

But Vietnam is Roman Empire.

Is the u.s. Canada's Mexico?

This is glorious

that's a fucking epic drawing

Unless the Vietnamese are gonna come over dominate the United States military and annex half the United States I don't think it is an apt comparrison.

God damn this is great

No, it was Persia.

I like how the germans kind of take the shape of an ocean wave in this painting. The angle of the shields and weapons align and take the form of a wedge that smashes into the roman ranks. The germans are also illuminated, while the romans are in shadow, which puts focus on the barbarians initiative. They are the hammer, the romans are the anvil. Awesome painting

>thatch shields

Germany was Rome's Mexico. Rome's Vietnam was probably Mesopotamia.

Utter trash, Germany extends from the Rhine, to Northern Sweden, to Northern Russia, to China, back to the Caucasus?

That's 1000X worse than any WE WUZ faggots.

Are you a bot?

Judaea was Afghanistan.
