What wallet does Veeky Forums use? I want a good multi currency wallet that has built in exchange. I've been using Exodus so far and I like it but I want one that has more coins.

blockchain.info is the most secure wallet that is also somewhat convenient plus they have started implementing a buy bitcoin feature.
By the way can anyone in Europe tell me what the fee is for buying bitcoin on blockchain.info? It's not available in the US yet.
my wallets are encrypted and backed up
how much coins does blockfolio hold?
You have to type your private key every time you want to use the wallet. The key is stored in plaintext in memory for a short while.
How to flush out the memory that contains the plaintext key?
Open up photoshop and resize a 13 megapixel picture to 50000%
what?
lol no, I keep the wallet.dat files
I don't have to type shit.
the wallet.dat files are encrypted, even if you took them, you couldn't spend my money
HOw is this different than storing them on an exchange?
I am thinking about buying a hardware wallet
you are trusting exchanges to not steal your money, same with coinbase. In contrast, you are the only person who has access to your blockchain.info wallet.
I keep mine all on coinbase
2FA with coinbase currently, but I've ordered a Nano Ledger S for storing and sending ETH and should be here early next month.
Smart move?
Exchanges have fallen before, many of them actually, and people lost all their coins. Don't leave your coins in exchanges
What if I have 128gb of ram?
restart pc
Hell yes, it is a very worthwhile investment especially if you're holding big bucks. I keep my eth on coinbase but don't trust it all, will be moving it offline asap.
Make sure you follow all the nano ledger instructions, and write down the seed.
Don't be a tard like this guy

How did he lose it? I cant watch vid atm
He claims that something went wrong with the device, but he couldn't recover his coin as he didn't write down the seed
I have a question. About a year ago I used MultiBit to pay something with Bitcoins. After transaction I had 1$ worth of bitcoin left or so. Now I logged in again in MultiBit and I'm a bit confused. Since the bitcoin went up, it means that the 1$ should be more by now, right? Is there any way to see in MultiBit how the value changed so far? I'm a bit confused. Also why does it take so long to synchronize after logging in?
I'm gonna wipe the device right after getting the pass phrase completed so I can write in the device and test it out.
Good idea
This guy's video is fairly detailed, but quite long

Good luck with your nano ledger
fuck him, he deserves to lose all his money. Too bothered to write a piece of paper. A piece of paper that was 4k worth
