Does anyone make money writing Erotica/Romance ebooks on Amazon? I heard you can make a killing with it, and I'm a somewhat decent writer.

how bout we combine the two

would any of you buy crypto themed erotica?

>and user gently stroked down to refresh his blockfolio
>anonette responded with a lustful expression, as if it was the biggest cock she'd ever seen
>"do you wanna see my DGB holdings", said user to anonette
>"I'm more interested in your RDD", replied anonette. "Take me to the moon"

>her sell walls vibrated in anticipation

>user sensed her excitement and proceeded to load up his wallet in anticipation of a transfer to the exchange, "how big a trade shall we do?" Enquired user

I'll buy it if there's an ICO for it.

Please continue.

>She gasped as he proceeded to pump away at her sell walls. She watched in amazement as the green candle grew bigger and bigger.

Bro I can't give this shit out for free

>anonete slaps him as he begins to slow, "did I say the pump was finished yet"

>"Don't worry" user clasped her hands. She felt the power and strength in his hands, conditioned by years of iron-willed hodling.

Kek

I'm actually making a good bit of money off of crypto. My initial investment was small, but I've octupled it in only a month(with some luck, of course).

I just want something to do on the side, to make even more gains. besides, I like writing.

Sia was thrown onto the bed. Her hair sparkled in the moonlight drifting in from the window, and she was ready for the whale to make her a very happy altcoin. Sia's husband, Bitbean, was sat in the corner, his manhood small, hairless, and locked away by a chastity cage. His cuckolding fetish made him calm, yet eager, for the whale to pump with his wife. Sia screamed in pure ecstasy as the whale pumped her full of his long, Chinese shaft. The sweat dripped off of their skin, and the air was filled with a sensual glee. The the whale finally came, his semen splattered all over Sia's stomach. The warm, white fluid of love stained her soft, pure skin.

Sia may have been done, but the bull wasn't. He picked her up, and swung her onto her stomach. She let out an uncomfortable scream as the whale invaded her tender butthole. Sitting sadly in the corner, bitbean wanted to speak up against the bull, but he could only muster a yelp, as he surely could not overpower the whale's strength and economic prosperity. The whale hodled the body of poor, sweet Sia in the air, as he pumped her full of love. As he came once more, she let out a dying and hopeless yelp.

Try other venues as well.

I had an affiliate link to Smashwords.com . I did not link to erotica/romance but people clicked my link and bought those books. It was never something I focused on, but it's not like they don't sell.

You also have to consider there may be free stuff out there and weigh it against that.

>Suddenly his momentum began to sag.
>"What's wrong?" annonette asked
>"Umm, nothing. It's just some FUD... I swear this never happens."
>"Just hodl you faggot" annonette intoned slightly annoyed
>"Yep, I'm hodling. It's just..." user's confidence flagged as he watched his green candle grow smaller and smaller despite his strokings
>"Jesus, I thought you said you'd take me to the moon, now what?"
>"I...I... REEEE!" user belted as he watched his sorry green candlestick turn an inflamed red from his excessive attempt at inflating his coin "I never should have listened to /biz!!"

Enjoyable read. Thank you keep up the writing

I need a few paragraphs from you too.

Fucking quality kek take the you

This fucking thread

Here's a serious answer from someone who earned a small fortune in Kindle publishing since 2011:

Yes, it's still possible to earn in erotica, but nothing like before.

Plenty of erotica authors were earning $10k+ a month through 2013. That's been exceedingly rare since Amazon rolled out Kindle Unlimited in 2014. You need KU borrows so your books aren't buried, but because most erotica titles are short, you're looking at much lower earnings in a system that pays you by the page read.

Erotica is also far more saturated than ever. If you're dedicated to churning out a couple shorts every week, you might build up to a 2-3k income in several months.

The real money is in full length romance novels and thrillers. But unlike erotica, you can't go into those half-cocked because they've also gotten more competitive than ever.

Study, study, study if you're serious. Take a month and just read popular books in those niches before you write a single word. Be sure you have a couple thousand saved to invest in good cover art from a pro and marketing.

TL;DR there's money in Kindle books, but no longer easy money. That ended a couple years ago and it's only getting harder.

Thanks for the advice. Are some genres easier than others, or are they all roughly the same?

i'm glad i suggested crypto erotica

saving most of this thread

also more please kind anons

Any Crypto tips you can share? I just restarted after getting burned back in 14' from Asiacoin and Mt Cox and could do with some luck

My main strategy is to divide my money among the altcoins I believe will do well long term, and hold. If a coin is essentially just a copy of bitcoin and doesn't offer anything new, I don't do anything with it. You can also get some good stuff from browsing biz and orting by creation date, but I wouldn't rely on it 100%.

Cool thanks.

So by holding are you setting a maximum amount and waiting for that amount to be reached or do you just buy the alts and hold onto them and do nothing?

Romance and thrillers definitely easier to enter and gain traction for a self-pub. It's a hell of a lot harder for something like fantasy or Young Adult because many readers in those genres still pay attention to publisher (and prefer traditional pub books). There are probably smaller niches I'm unaware of, I have no idea about nonfiction.

I've dealt only in erotica, romance, and thrillers. But have known many authors who tired other things and often failed when they strayed too far.

This thread is gold, I'm HODLing it

Do nothing. I don't really have any limits on how much profit I make.

I see. Are thrillers just scary books, like goosebumps or something?

No trolling, but have you considered how writing this stuff will effect you professionally or even socially)? Are you ok being known for writing/being involved in what is essentially porn? Seems like a bridge too far to me, but everyone has different values. Good luck op.

I wrote two erotica stories and published them there about a year ago. They were quite shitty and only around 10k words each. I've made about $50 from them all up.

I've started writing another one recently but lack the motivation to finish it so far.

From what I've seen, it seems like the best way to make money with such short, crappy pieces is to keep writing more of them. They get the most attention when they're new; 80% of my sales were within 3 months of publishing. People notice it and if they enjoy it they'll probably want more and go buy your others.

Yes. Watch porn and write down what you see. izi pizi

Serious question, which cryptocoin is or will be most related/connected to the porn industry in the future Veeky Forums?

BTC

Monero/Zcash. The missus will never now.

A coin for porn and porn alone would not succeed. While people on biz can jerk off to cryptocoins day and night, your average layman doesn't want to have to juggle more than one coin around just to jerk off. Normies love standardization because it's cheap and simple to understand.

They'll likely use whichever coin is dominant at the time, whether it's still bitcoin, ethereum, or whatever.

>what is a pen name

>Does anyone make money writing Erotica/Romance ebooks on Amazon?

Can you sell it for crypto on OpenBazaar or BitBay?

If yes, I think it is a great idea.
