Saw a fairly convincing documentary about how the headshot (the one that was obviously some sort of hollow point bullet) that ended up killing him probably came from the car behind him with FBI agents who were seen in possession of M-16s that would be capable and likely of firing the proper bullet. Also some witnesses claim they saw a pink flash from the FBI vehicle as the second shot was fired. The final bit mentioned how the FBI covered it up by forcing the docs to give up the brains and losing them. The documentary tried to paint it like the M-16 accidentally went off and just happened to shoot Kennedy right in the head but I think it's far more likely that the fucker who made sure his secretary shredded his documents upon his death was the choreographer of this play. Other people also might've been involved, Oswald certainly was, probably the mob too.
