Why did Britbongs fight against Russia in the War of Crimea?

Haven't they just been helped by Russia against Napoleon?

If it wasn't for the fucking Britards we wouldn't have kebab right now.

Because continental politics in the early modern era was dominated by temporarily coalitions designed for immediate benefit, not long term alliances based on ideology

Oh, gotcha senpai.

So there wasn't even an idea of "well, you got our back last time, so we are cool"?

Well there are some 50 years ofpolitics between Napoleon and the Crimean War, which were highly complecated years with a lot of political maneuvering. Look where this world was 50 years ago. It was up to debate wether or not Germany was to be trusted and there was talk about alliances with Iran and radical Islam against communism. Politics change a lot in 50 years. In that time, everything in Europe was about the balance of power: No country should get to powerfull that it couldn't be defeated. If Russia would take Istanbul, which wasn't impossible at the time, it would mean Russia would get a lot of land, power and acces to the Mediterranean. This would
a)make Russia too powerfull
b)harm British and French interests in the Mediterranean
Britain and France didn't want this obviously, so they fought a war over it. To judge history so easily you forgo all the complexity of the time and the reasons for people's action, while judging with the knowledge now

Balance of power.

>To judge history so easily you forgo all the complexity of the time and the reasons for people's action, while judging with the knowledge now

Yeah, that's why I am asking. I don't know shit. Thanks for your detailed explanation.

Brits are anti-white and anti-Christian and they prove this consistently for the last 400 years. Their "muh balance of power" tactic that outright prevented anyone from uniting Europe in the end only ensured all European countries became irrelevant, ironically including Brits itself.

I mean we're talking about a country that ennobled Jews and let them completely take over British banking sector and trade during the time when rest of Europe was going full pogrom on them, that alone should give you a hint.

Why do you post this? You are retarded and don't belong here.

>anti-white
>people giving a shit about race
/pol/ please
also
>not knowing britain still controls the world covertly

Fuck off Nigel.

They don't even control their own country, let alone the world. Literally became a sissy slave of their former colony.

That's an interesting different perspective to consider. Thanks for contributing.

This. Eternal cuckolds are the Jews of the white race.

>implying a disunited, constantly infighting Europe isn't why Europe dominated the world

git gud

To make the Russians weaker overall so they could acquire more of central Asia.

How do we increase the immigration of Pakistanis into eternal England?

Russia was a direct UK rival by that point, and there was no greater threat in the form of Napoleon for both powers to put aside their differences.

Also if the Ottomans got BTFO'd into irrelevance there'd be no lower level great power around to balance out southeastern Europe between Austria and Russia. That's bad for the balance of power.

>If it wasn't for the fucking Britards we wouldn't have kebab right now.

The Brits BTFO the Ottomans in 1918 and were set to hand all their remaining European territory and a good part of their Anatolian territory to the Russians. Then after the Russians got BTFO and collapsed, they decided to hand it to the Greeks. Including Constantinople. The shattered remnants of part of the Ottoman Army promptly reconstituted itself and BTFO the Greeks despite the Greeks being supported by the French and Brits and having advantages in every area of men and materiel.

It's not the Brits' fault that they were worthless.

What? Europe isn't dominating shit in the past 60 years.

Because the loss of the Ottoman Empire would've profoundly undermined the balance of power in Europe and the interests of the British and to some extent, that of the French as well.

They've merely followed the steps of the Holy Roman Empire during the rule of Charlemagne, in case you've missed his propensity towards ((them)).

That's just what they want you to think.
