started 6 days ago on 100€, im at 190€ only i have a day to make 10 bucks or KMS.
How to daytrade:
>1. Don't
You're going to lose all of your money while alienating yourself from society and wind up a complete neet faggot. The less trades you make a month the more money you will earn.
Started with $80 that I used to buy 2 ETH. Held, sold, bought into a few meme coins. This is me rn, welcome to the family OP
>dont day trade, be a good boy
>meanwhile there are actual kids right now day trading on legit stock exchanges and making decent money at home
how long have you been doing it to gain that much?
im looking to make at least 20 bucks a day or something. then move goal posts weekly.
And they're all socially retarded faggots that live and die by candlestick charts, checking their phones and computers every 5 minutes. It's not about being a good boy, in fact, Warren Buffet and his cronies want you to dump all of your money in the stock market so you can get fucked out of it and wagecuck for the rest of your life.
Do as you please, but understand that unless you're using Python trading algorithms or autist level math and calculation, you aren't going to win.
I started back in (mid?) March.
All I've really been doing is holding and buying dips. Daytrading isn't really worth it imo. Unless you have a shitton of capital to start or invest strictly in shitcoins
Also, you can't really comprise it into daily income. I went from being down $80 one day to up $90 in daily returns the next

Are there any good programs to keep track of all your trades?
blockfolio. but you gotta import all your shit.
if you are between alt exchanges and your main exchange you can easily track it. the website does it for you,.
Started with 6 ETH mid April, held till may, sold a few for dgb, xrp. Ridden RDD 5-18 then 14-70. We'll all eventually get to the lamboland op.
Can we talk about trading strategies involving stocks or FOREX?
Crypto is a giant bull market right now, literally any body can make money, and its so new you cant really give advice outside of buy and hold.
What matters later on down the road though is going to be stocks and FOREX. Anybody successful in day trading within either of these?
>implying the neet lifestyle isn't ideal
kys normie
>literally any body can make money,
thats the point of the thread.
>alienating yourself from society
>wind up a complete neet
Really makes you think, like, you are implying that it's bad to sit home. How are your wife and kids doing? Will you buy minivan with your profits?
I'm trying to get into forex with my crypto gains once the altcoin spring comes to a close. Would a EUR/USD be a smart pair to get considering the news that the fed will be raising interest rates soon? Or is the effect of this already fairly priced in?
I just want to say that you having moon at the top is fucking awesome. If you want to spread some of that moon love, you know where to find me
2ZRZ58rhNDhdnf6qHNSXYG8XX4Q8T6Afxr
This. Your not going to make any serious gains doing this unless you can trade a lot of volume and can predict the future.
>while alienating yourself from society
GEE.
If you're on this god given hentai image board and you're not already a literal red pilled nazi who lifts weights and thinks in chads and stacies, then you're doing it wrong.
Might give this a try next time I have a day with nothing to do.
I put $100 a week of my paycheck into investments, but it's almost all S&P500 ETFs. Only risky stuff is buying up oil now, and bought up Euros after Brexit.
I wana jump on gold ETFs before the next crash
This. If I would have just held what I orginally bought in bitcoin and eth I would of had 40k right now. If I would have my ripple I traded for 180k. If I would have held my eth I traded for 90k. If I would have held my stratis I traded for 60k. If I would of held my verge I traded for that I bought at 4 sat I would of had 60k. But what do I have now. About 28k. 10k more than I started with. Riding the dragon is fun but don't do it with more than 1 btc. Buy and HODL.
The norms of day trading between stocks out forex are different than crypto. There's so much volatility with new coins mooning everyday , albiet with corrections just as fast and hard, the margins are way more profitable, the key is diversifying your risk. You still really need to know your shit or crypto will eat your lunch.
It takes a lot of time and effort and without significant capital it's hard to make it worth it if you aren't automating it.
Timing the market is tough, I'd say best a newb could do is pick a few coins for the day to ride, set your targets and stick to them. Keep the number of trades low
>make 100k on crypto
>in the meantime learn some trading for old people, train on virtual
>'daytrade' on regular stocks with 50k to pay your bills, reinvest 50k in cryptos
that's my dream
>inb4 ethereum gave you 50% profit
You start with 100k usd here. I started in April, so assuming I started with 50k actual money without ether existing, I'd make around 10k usd a month. Where I live 1k is enough to make a living.
>python
KEK
A lot of financial software is written in python. It has math and science libraries. I'm still trying to learn how to get into it though
Protip: use Bollinger Bands
I'm fine. Learn to diversify better goys.
and MACD and rsi and fibbonaci.
Any other tools you use biz?
this
I think a good base would be 25% low risk eth/eth token, 25% mid/high risk eth token, 25% mid/low risk alt, 25% high risk alt.
I'm $5k BTC, $2.5K ETH, $2k split across 4 different medium risk tokens, and $500 into absolute meme MOON.
I was going to make a separate thread about Golem just now but scouring the catalogue I figured you guys might be interested in this.
Brass Golem is expected to be coming out 'in June' and I suspect that we could see a massive surge of interest into Golem as a result.
Is it coming sooner than we think...?
3% gains? Might as well buy stocks.
That's 24h goy.

Following this while making gains. I wish all learning was like this. Check it out.
Bollinger Bands, MACD, and Fibs are my favorite combo.
I make about 100-500 per day playing with 10-30k.
I just short a few coins 2-3% before I go to work. It works 90% of the time for me.
Who is this virgin princess?
How do you short coins?
And how do you choose which ones to short?
What's the actual delay? Heard nothing good so far.
I can't imagine trying to daytrade coins when you have to deal with delays that make it impossible to time your trades.
How often do you guys withdraw cash from coins? Or do you just hold and keep reinvesting. Sometimes I really want to take out a bit but know I could possibly double its value if I leave it.
Start with any amount, Doesnt matter. Your first investment is kind of practice. Once you are comfortable, put in a larger amount. Set targets
Decent gains are made whenever the market allows them. But its not a game of making 100% when a coin moons. Its making say 2% a day (2% a day, starting with $40, compounds to $55K after a year). If you are making lots of trades, you'll get in a little late, and leave a little early. That way there is less risk. But now and again you can do really well.
There is no set target on what to earn a specific day. Some days I will buy and sell XRP 10 times and make a killing. Some days theres not much going on and call it for what it is. What you have to do is create a system and stick to it. Then when bad trades happen, as long as you followed a winning system, its ok. Lets say you have $2000 in your day trade account. You may wanna say, okay, for every week profit, I want to take 50% and cash out, put 25% into long term holds, then use 25% to compound for larger gains. So if you made $100 that week, pay yourself $50, buy $25 of ETH, and trade with $2025 instead of $2000. Since your day trade account just got larger, you will make more the following week.
I use a lot of things.
I don't know what you mean by setup
Also, read the wall street money machine. After you read that book, you'll understand why I can sit and just buy XRP all day.
Do you honestly not recognize Sasha Grey?
shorting is where you sell your coins then put in a buy order when they drop a little.
basically:
sell ubq x1128 @ 6500
buy ubq x1201 @ 6250
sell ubq x1164 @ 7800
buy ubq x 1209 @ 7500
ive shorted ubq every day for the last week making around 100-150 bucks every time. its a good example of the risk of shorting because i actually like ubq a lot and if i sold and my buy order was never filled id have to buy back in at a higher cost so there is more potential for loss than gains in a single trade
But you sell for what?
Bitcoin?
Do you use Poloniex?
OP what I basically did was follow this guys advice.
Until I could do this guy's advice
bittrex
I can't believe I've never thought of doing this what the fuck
praise kek
As in my post. Read the Wall Street Money Machine. The guy noticed an oscillating trend in Motorola stock. He became rich, only buying and selling Motorola. He coined the rolling stock term we use today, and countless variations of TA were created to find those patterns.
love the xby. holding 130k myself
Literal HODLer cope.
We understand most people can't profitably day trade. We know most normies on biz just buy and hold, becoming the market's bitch.
Some of us enjoy identifying and exploring market inefficiencies and making gains in bull and bear market's.
Stick to buy and hold mr shitcoin buffet, lets hope today's losses don't continue as it hurts you HODLers, although today was very profitable for me.
* Exploiting market inefficiencies
Seems like the right thread:
I tried buying some ETH from coinbase yesterday using a debit card, which is supposed to be instant, but it didn't seem to take. I don't want to try again and get double charged... Anyone else have this occur? Just wanted to dip my toes in crypto...
call your card company, most of them will block it for fraud. If you're using a bank account to trade and not a credit card be ready to wait a week. Safer to put fiat into your USD wallet on coinbase and then instant transfer it to btc or eth
I need a trophy bitch thread. I may have to start it on another board. I should have used that shit to keep me motivated instead of getting wage cucked and marriage memed
I'm on NoPorn and 4 days in FUCK YOU THIS IS A SFW BOARD
REEEEEEEEEEE
>most of them will block it for fraud
Interesting.
Thanks man appreciate the info
/pol/ enlightened me, Veeky Forums refined me, and Veeky Forums will give me the material assets needed to retake the white man's world
I don't think that was it, though. Bank should've alerted me if that were the case.
Been trading for a while, yesterday I bought KIDS after reading about it in here and have made mad gains already, bought in at 3 sold at 7, now I got in at 5 and waiting for it to go up after the other coins stabilize. It should yield at least x3 profit before it goes down.
What platforms you cucks using for daytrading platforms?
No one seems to ever give answers to this question on this board.
Bittrex. Is that what you meant?
>/pol/ enlightened me, Veeky Forums refined me, and Veeky Forums will give me the material assets needed to retake the white man's world
Godspeed Fellow Veeky Forumsizen,

Who?
Most fortunes in crypto are made by buying early and holding (often through negligence).
That should tell you something...
On the other hand, all profound losses are made by buying what you thought was early and holding into the ground.
So, in your opinion, is day trading stocks and FOREX safer, easier and thus possibly more profitable than cryptos?
Assuming you use coinbase with fiat to make trades?
Nobody uses Coinbase to trade. That's retarded. You use GDAX, which is owned by Coinbase.
Even then they only have three coins, so you'll have to move to Bittrex or Poloniex.
Stop looking for what is easy, you've already got a loosing mindset.
Rather than trying to be spoonfed, use google and do some research. Nothing we tell you will help you, if you can't research a simple concept and make your own decision, how are you going to make money when competing vs institutional investors.
You're the 90% of traders that fail already with that mindset. Change it
I trade BTC futures on Bitmex and OKEX, and have done so since around mid-December 2016
Started with about 5BTC in my account and got lucky and rode the entire December pump to the top, turned that 5 into 10 relatively quickly. The time since then has been much slower gains given the volatile market we saw from jan-apr, plus as I learned more about trading and risk management I learned I had been trading WAY too risky initially and got lucky I didn't get burned. My position sizes have decreased since then, but after ~6 months and at current prices I'm pulling an average of 0.2-0.3 BTC per week which is roughly $1000 CAD, not bad for a side hustle.
OKC is far more of a wild west environment and prone to manipulation, and basically just tracks the OKC spot market although their "index" is supposed to be more balanced than that. Since the OKC spot market is relatively illiquid, whales likely move the spot price around to influence futures and basically make it their playground. Play at your own risk.
Mex is far more reasonable and their index is purely 50/50 GDAX/Stamp and far less prone to manipulation since their liquidation prices arent marked to the last contract price, so you can't get whales pushing the price purely to shake out positions. It takes a lot of discipline and isn't for the faint of heart.
To date, I've made about 15.5 BTC since Dec 2016, quite a good return that I'm happy with and want to continue honing my skills
Dude I turned $4,000 into $40,000 and counting since late March with crypto. I definitely dont have a losing mindset.
I just want a first person perspective on how day trading stocks/forex COMPARES to crypto from someone who is diversified in both. Im not asking for tips, help or advice.
...
Started today with $90 ETH and $60 BTC. I lost 5 bucks to STEEM (lol) and made 49 cents with ARK and made about a dollar on some other shit coins lol. Did I mention I bought btc at 2.9k? Fuck.
