The similarity to certain words and traditions are rooted in trans continental migration between Africa and Eurasia for tens of thousands of years.
An example would be Circumcision for instance is not Jewish, it existed in Egypt before and is common practice all the way down to Bantu nations in South Africa.
The early formative period of what we call Israel is rooted in populations that did in fact have traits archeological workers described as sharing certain traits with Africa. We know the Torah makes mention of a melding of African people and genetics shows upwards of 3kya there was an introgression of what we call "subsaharan" though more accurately ethio-somali, nilosaharan, Ethiopia. Via the absorption of people who created what we know today as being the Jewish religion.
While of course the majority of West Africans have no direct connection to what we consider to be Jewish in the proper sense we are aware of 3 groups that left bloodlines: Berber Jews, Jews of Timbuktu and the Jewish Iberian presence in the early days of Atlantic Trade.
