USA and Switzerland are the best functioning democracies in the World

USA and Switzerland are the best functioning democracies in the World

does gun ownership have anything to do with it?

America is barely functioning, lad

Why are Yanks so delusional?

Britain is a superior democracy

>new Pakistan
>superior to anything
France is where it's at.

>New Algeria
>Superior to anything
Germany is where it's at.

>New Turkey
>superior to anything
Italy is where it's at.

Britain is the biggest shithole in western Europe.

Liberal constitutional protestant monarchies > murriclaps

>New Ethiopia/Albania
>Superior to anything
Poland is where it's at

>USA
>functioning democracy

>soon to be new congress of poland
Russia is where it is at

>2 candidates
>the majority of people vote in one candidate
>the other one gets elected
>""best functioning democracy in the world""

>When the name of your country is a good description of the people living in it

Serbia is where it's at

Descentralization of political power.

If you are able to influence what is happening in your village through your vote, you will give more value to democracy. If you can't do anything because some planning commission in the capital overrules whatever you want, you will not care.

>Mongolian SAR
>Superior to Anything
China is where it's at.

hehe this

look though, to answer OP's question-- who the fuck knows? What I do know is that guns are fucking awesome and it's cool to have a lot of them.

>I just learned about the electoral college three months ago. Nevertheless, my opinions about it are relevant.

lol that was actually a really good one.

>best functioning democracy
>democracy
Is English a 2nd language for you?

>in America, the only thing that people are allowed to vote for is the president

Also, I feel like an true native speaker of English would have said "Is English your 2nd language." The way you phrased it makes me suspect you're a fucking Swede or something.

>lost part of country to communist albanian muslims

Slovakia is where it's at.

Because USA is a Republic and not a Democracy.

>USA
>Functioning democracy

Have we already forgotten that the president didn't even win the popular vote?

But de_illegalz user

Britain is simply not a democracy. It's a thinly veiled bourgeois dictatorship.

no it's already been mentioned 12 times in this thread you stupid faggot

> USA
> any kind of democracy

And it needs to be said a dozen times more to shame OP for saying something so dumb.

Australia and New Zealand are objectively the most democratic nations

Aren't they still owned by the UK to some degree? (this is what an Australian chick told me, though she wasn't exactly the brightest person in the world)

>USA and Switzerland are the best functioning democracies in the World
the USA is not one of the best functioning democracies in the world, it is barely better than a oligarchy, and desperately needs electoral reform and redistricting.

switzerland is better but not better than average for a european democracy.

>does gun ownership have anything to do with it?
only in the NRAs wet dreams

All of them are. Canada, NZ, Australia, etc. They are part of the commonwealth which means they technically belong to the queen, but in reality that doesn't mean shit. America isn't part of that because of the rebellion.

why would that matter, britain is more democratic than the USA as well.

as it stands both NZ and australia still have the queen as head of state and she still maintains the prerogative to dissolve the government and force new elections, but they are free at any time too amend their constitutions and declare republics, and neither the crown nor the UK government would object or obstruct

It's less democratic because it means people from a foreign land have partial ownership of your nation

not really, it would be less democratic if those people actually tried to use that control or in fact insisted it remain, as it stands there are no bars to those countries simply saying 'we republics now' if they wanted to do so.

the foreign land in this scenario has a public commitment to giving up ownership when asked
