Name a successful atheist society

Chyna

Czech Republic, USSR post WWII, China after Mao's death

Norway

Not exactly atheistic per se. People here aren't Christian in any strong sense, but around 30% of the population still attend Church, and most people still celebrate Christmas and Easter.

Czechia
The Netherlands
The Soviet Union

>30% attend church
hefty minority
>celebrate christmas/easter
bastardized pagan festivals celebrated by nonreligious people all over America.

Easter for my family was baskets full o candy, the easter bunnies, and egg hunts...

Estonia

>30% of the population still attend Church
Is it churches or are mosques being counted too?

Fuck off /pol/.

Great Britain

The USSR

China, and in particular the Song and Tang dynasty. Some Emperors were Buddhist while others were hardly theistic at all

This

Japan

My mother's father made bombs for the military. My father's father lost his leg in a car accident before America joined the war and so was ineligible to serve, but he was a mechanic prior to that and continued to run an auto body shop from his wheel chair, until he had enough to retire.

The baltic states
East germany
Chechia
Nips
Dengist china
The Netherlands

Norway, Finland, Iceland, Japan. Literally several of the top 10 successful societies on Earth are some of the most atheist.

In fact, the general trend is very obviously

More religious = less successful

Less religious = more successful

With a few exceptions out of nearly 200 of course.
