The Government at the time favored the Far Right and always either gave them light sentences or no sentence at all. It was inevitable Hitler would be at least in some position in high government. It was already destined he would be something very high and mighty in his country once he was out of jail, after his light sentence was given (far-right) And he was gaining followers by the hundreds when he was in prison too, in Germany and Austria mostly. Once he got out, his followers were sworn to him and whatever he told them they bought it. The party began gaining more and more seats and by the early 30s it was obvious it was only a matter of time. The Communist or Socialist or whatever opponents were beaten both in the streets and by seats. Hitler, his party large as fuck by 1933, pretty much used their show of power and powerfucked the government to sign over chancellorship to him.

No. You got it all wrong. He was appointed chancellor by president Hindenburg to replace the government of Kurt von Schleicher. It was a completely different situation and it can't be compared in any way to Munich in 1923.

Hardly. They were unpopular until 1930. The great depression made them popular. Same thing happened with communist.

I've come to believe that it likely was the communists, but Hitler didn't know that for sure and just had the evidence invented and most of the list prepared ahead of time because predicting dumb communist attacks on government at the time was like assuming there will be another Muslim attack in Europe today.
