Flag thread

Post flags. Good flags, bad flags, historic flags, alternate history flags.

Here's some OC for the hopefully upcoming merger of the German states Bremen and Lower Saxony.

...

Spain has some cool flags

So does Prussia

Nordic Cross variant, getting some Grand Duchy of Oldenburg in the mix. It makes up a sizeable portion of Lower Saxony after all and it borders Bremen.

Yeah, at least until the 1918 revolution.

Around the end of the 19th Century or beginning of the 20th Century the Kuna Indians (in Panama) revolted and set up the Republic of Tule or the Republic of the Men (Tule in their language means "Men" and is the name they use for themselves). The swastica is an ancient symbol of the culture of the Kuna (Tule) people.

The original coat of arms of the Mexican flag, it comes from the back of Moctezuma II's throne.

This one refers to the New Fire Ceremony

I'm trying to include the colors of all states that were once important in Lower Saxony, but my flag always looking South-Africa tier. Pic related. The colors are
>red and white for Bremen
>gold and white for Hannover
>blue and gold for Brunswick
>red and blue for Oldenburg
>black, red and blue for East Frisia
>red, white and blue for Schaumburg
In total, that makes black, white, red, gold and blue. Try to work with that.
What is this based on? Capitalo-communism?
I like this flag. The Spaniards of AoE III used it. It has a distinct shape that can be recognised quickly.
It goes back to the Aztec founding mythos for Tenochtitlan. They were told by the gods or some oracle to found a city whereever they saw an eagle eating a snake on a cactus. They saw one in the middle of Lake Texcoco and they built their city right on that lake.

This design I can sort of get behind. But I cannot for the life of me accommodate both yellow and white in the flag. It always clashes with something.

What about this? It has all the important color combinations, the coat of arms and the red nordic cross.

Why merge Bremen with Lower Saxony?

Zanzibar

Bremen consists of two cities that are both completely surrounded by Lower Saxon territory. Many people live just outside the city limits of Bremen or Bremerhaven. They commute to the cities, work and make money there, only to travel back and pay taxes to the Lower Saxon communes where they live.
Bremen's metropolitan region encompasses roughly a third of the area of Lower Saxony, including the regional centers Bremen, Bremerhaven, Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven (map related).
In addition to all that, an enclaved city with an exclave in another city that is also an exclave of the city state and an enclave within Lower Saxony is just unaesthetic as all fuck.

the Sicilian flag.

Ah yes, thanks for reminding me. The Sicilian flag is the second best among the Italian regions. Only the flag of Lombardy is even more based.

The flag of the Ryukyu kingdom.

Based.
In fact, most Japanese prefecture and city flags are great.

...

Guess we're doing bad flags now?

...

Thankfully, the awful garbage tier flag of Milwaukee might soon be replaced by this beautiful thing.

Pretty sure they sell pills

...

...

Not bad...

Jesus fuck

...

...

Reminds me of the Donetsk flag before they went separatist.

>Burgundy has some pretty cool flags
ftfy

But seriously, that flag is one of the coolest around

This is not real
Nice. I like the rising sun motif. Though Antigua and Barbuda and Arizona did it best.
