Wait so if this thing starts in 4 hours does that mean that ETH will probably dip a little?
Bancon/ETH relationship
>a little
Try 50%
Doubt it
the eth flowing to the ico isn't going to do anything to the market price
What are you basing that on?
Only need a small dip - I sold some when i thought it couldn't get any higher, but of course it did.
why would it dip.
no eth will be sold it will just get pulled out of the market.
Actually, you're right about that. Although demand might be reduced once the Bancor ICO finishes?
this ETH price makes me want to puke.
sell the news
Because people will stop buying it to throw it into this scam obviously
Smart investors and whales are using the ICO bubble hype as momentum to pump. They don't give a fuck bout ETH, or ICOs or "muh fundamentals".
When this ICO is over, ETH will get dumped and it will get dumped hard. Just like DGB. The higher it goes, the greater the carnage will be.
I don't have the leverage in my margin account to short at the moment but i would wait till about 30mins before the ICO opens, ride the last bit of the pump up and
*pop*
demand wont be reduced cause there a big news in 2 (or was it 3) days about ETH (asia market something).
so my bet is ETH will rise alot more in this week and will outperform possible bancor gains.
i will hodl my eth and wont send them to bancor
Ask yourself this: did the value of USD change in any meaningful way when Facebook issued their IPO?
ETH still has a long, long way to run before it corrects.
also, this
If you think the ETH bump is being driven by this. I don't.
ETH WILL FALL SOON
You are legitmately braindead
>big news
>asia market something
104 billion / 12 trillion
? / 36 billion
ETH pump and demand is driven by the ICO bubble. Loads of shitty startups making their own token on Ethereum's chain. That's the only thing driving demand, pure speculation in icos and the promise of the next easy payday. Buy ICO, dump when it goes on exchanges for 5x what it cost in ETH.
When this goes, it's really going to be ugly and it's going to hurt ICOs in the future.
- Bancor aims for 1M Ether, and will likely meet their goal.
- There's about 60K Ethers for sale on Polo right this moment, and per Coinmarketcap Polo represents 16.5% of the ETH volume: assume something like 400K Ethers on sale.
It's likely the price is driven up right now, and we should see a single digit dip after the sale. But Bancor should dry up the supply which bring prices up as a result. Which then might lead to some people taking profit... While some others buy in because the newest greatest ICO made more money than ever, and they want on that train.
The only thing you can be sure of is that there's going to be high volatility for a few days. Any big move down is likely to meet strong resistance pushing it back up.
Ethereum's rise is driven by hype, and every bump in price adds to the subconscious collective perception this thing can't fail. It's going to take a major event to crash ETH. Even betting on dips that should be logical is fairly risky at this point.
Go on then, load fuckhead and ride it to the moon. Ride ETH and all its value right now, it will never correct right?
All perfectly sustainable parabolic price movement right here.
>comparing ETH to DGB
fuck it i'm putting 1 eth into bancor what is it anyway
i only wonder all these billions flowing into crypto the last week
Well actually it is sustainable
Coins only correct if they are overvalued, retard
Eth is not, its still extremely undervalued even if it hits 1k, it hasn't even hit 1% of its potential yet
Get your head out of your ass, nigger
explain this 1% potential meme
sounds like an anime character
...
...
1 ETH MIN?
and do they send the 100 to my eth wallet or something?
I think the minimum is .01 ETH. That'd be 1 Bancor.
But don't do it, dude. You're trading gold for brass.
Keep in mind market cap is not actual money. If only 5% of the supply is actively traded, then a few dozen million dollars can move the market cap by billions.
>so my bet is ETH will rise alot more in this week and will outperform possible bancor gains
isn't bancor's price tied to eth's price? i.e. 100 bancor = 1 eth, no less
what's a good ico to get into
the only advantage of bancor i see right now is that its happening in 3 hours and potential considerable gains as soon as it hits markets
Assuming you trust the people behind Bancor, 100 Bancor will always at least = 1 ETH at the time of the ICO.
Even if they're not full of shit, if ETH moons, that's not going to mean much unless Bancor also takes off.
Haha, this fucking delusion. I'll enjoy watching you get shit on in about 3 hours.
Keep this thread open, I got to go out
brass backed by gold, silver and every other shitty metal.
Oh there'll be corrections along the way and the real bloodbath will come at some point, but if it pushes on to stick as the major platform for widespread disruption I would expect 30 billion to be a number ETH tokens themselves could regularly hit if for no other reason than that the jew has to compete with the masses now and becomes pressured to hedge rather than stonewall.
I enjoy a bit of price cheering and seeing these faggots get rich taking porfit, but todays price, tomorrows price, they don't matter to me, I'm no daytrader man, just a guy with a crystal ball.
