These (Red Cave) people were probably an offshoot of Homo Heidelbergensis, so brothers to Homo Sapiens but not Homo Sapiens.

That "female" has five'o'clock shadow and no tits.

Either humans were ugly af or these reconstructions are way off.

I just find it hard to believe that we went from ugly specimens like these to Modern Specimens like these.

I know, it's called irony.

For real though, it's a woman and a man.

>Irish couple, circa 2017

That's small-town face. Give her lighter skin and light brown / strawberry blonde hair, maybe a more recessed chin.

Damn I'd paint her cave youknowamsayan.

Literally what are these faces based on?

agreed. they need to start being a little more accurate with their ugly-ass representation of humanity. Probably just a reflection of themselves deep down.

I've heard it's difficult to reconstruct facial tissue as opposed to facials traits. So nose, ears, eyes are kinda a shot in the dark.

I honestly think its a desire for people to look different. Modern humans are no different. If you take away the pigmentation from blacks, for example (who's dark face conceals their facial features) they look ugly as sin.
