The end, story update?

people liked the fact that i shared about my story and my company. I had to close my doors and sell off everything. Well a huge sell off happened today. Thought maybe y'all would like a update/follow along as I close this chapter in my life. Being a business owner has major ups and some real downs...I wont lie..seeing things that I worked for being loaded up and sold off cuts and hurts....whats worse is the next few weeks some big ticket items are going...

p.s if you want to buy anything you see in my video..let me know I'm in north dallas texas and wow..I need a beer..its close enough to 6pm

if y'all want I can post photos that I took over the years? the photo is what one of the trailers looked like before being unloaded.

fake and gay

i honestly wish it was fake..

just noticed the video was sideways getting that fixed now

are you the electronic waste management user who got fucked over by a former close friend?

I'm sorry to hear that user. You took steps to be successful and failed.

What's for sale?

Yup...thats me...just bring/adding to the story for those who wish to see the end with me. If I was thinking I...i would of setup a time laps video of the unloading...
the semi trailers and the forklift right now. I may sell the two trailers [the red goose neck one and the flatbed..idk yet]

what about the SUV?

the white chevy blazer is a 1996 or 97 not sure 4x4. My brother was driving it an ran low on oil so it needs a new motor. Has clean texas title and can sell it for $500

If you would replace the motor, I'd look at buying it for about $2000-2500

thank you! I could really use that. Shoot me a email..this email will die soon so I don't mind posting it. [email protected]

North Dallas is a tough place to do business. Highly regulated and highly competitive.
How much you want for some of those computers?

It's a real shame it had to end that way. In business, there truly are no friends. I hope you can find peace and can keep moving forward user, we must find strength in tough times.

Yea dallas is real competitive..it was fun. They are dell t7500 decked out with duel cpus and from 20gb to 30fb of ECC memory. I will most likely STAY in refub resell of computers but on a MUCH smaller scale...
yea...something I learned to late but I have learned alot and with me being 27...I'm not giving up yet. I will work hard and scrap my hands again...[I'm going to get into doing more auto stuff]

I'm sorry for what you're going through and that.
your Family sounds really cool, that other shit is only tough right now.
keep them videos sideways. be like you don't notice.
only a retard could get angry at that.

good luck user

He didn't fail he had a running business for several years in a struggling sector and economy.

What about Microlending Servicing?

>They are dell t7500 decked out with duel cpus and from 20gb to 30fb of ECC memory.
This is totally unnecessary for a small business. You have to run stuff at bare minimum to get by if you are going to succeed in business.

thats what I'm going to be focus on and try to grow on. I'm hoping that company takes wings...I will be doing videos on that as I go.
My company was a IT company...we bought IT gear, refub and resold. We also recycled a wide range of server gear that could not be reused. So thats some left over inventory...

anyone got links to the previous threads? I wanna read this.

Altho...thinking about it..i think they may have 100gb+...I forget if the memory riser cards are full or not..I will check on that.
Sorry, I don't...hopfully someone will.

OP - I don't know if you're still reading this thread but it is important to me that you know this:

By going out on your own and running your own business, you have done more than most of the people in this country. Today might seem like one of the worst days of your life but I *promise* you that tomorrow will be better. You have acquired skills and knowledge that most MBAs don't have and I predict that some time within the next 6 months you'll find something else and be on top of the world.

So grab that beer tonight (I recommend forgoing the Shiner and getting a Karbach) and sleep well tonight because you are already ahead of the game.

Also buy DGB.

I'm still reading this thread! Karbach..mmm have not tried that one. Also thanks for the words and I know I have learned alot and I'm going to apply them in another company I have [its really small] and with me freeing up funds and time..I'm hoping it takes wings and grows.

On a side note if you like to follow this...sub my YT? Also to the person who asked for info/links to the last Veeky Forums post...I forgot I do have a LINK from that of the video I posted on yt that goes into more detail so maybe worth the watch?

ayo hol up senpai, HODL!

At least you can say you've been there, done that.

Lesson learned. Knowledge gained.

Lol...I agree I have not done any of that..and I know people who are my age sitting at mcds crying about not having free college and not getting paid..they are not willing to take the risks..
yup...learned alot that will play a big role in things to come and...I still paid less than people who went to college so...thats a win?

Nice trips cuh!
Whatchu did mang?
I can't stand those free college folks. It really chaps my ass when they want to get a degree in 'Social Science' on my dime. Thank god these socialist/marxist are contained mostly in big cities and are dependent on the heartland/breadbasket.
I am lucky to live in conservative Irivine CA with my gramps. All of my family earn big, with out college! (a few went to tradeschool though).
Good luck.

>I can't stand those free college folks. It really chaps my ass
agreed...sometimes the best way to learn is to DO IT and who knows you may find a BETTER way than if you went to college.

>trucking
How? I thought you lose your sanity.

What kind of semis you selling

Just the two semi trailers in the photo. Both are 53ft long, one is a storage trailer type deal. The other can be put back on the road with alittle work since it has not rolled in a year or so. The semi truck was leased/rented when needed..was MUCH cheaper with insurance since we only needed it few times a month type deal [long haul we used a trucking company]

>what is Veeky Forums, movies, music, making beats, internet browsing, books

I only worked 8 months out of the year with only 2 1/2 weeks of work a month. Plus, I had a partner. It was fun and I was lucky not to have an accident, but some fucking assholes don't respect big rigs (like wtf? Have you seen fatal car accident pics?), and nearly get hit by me. I'm about retire at 34, this year.
HODL!
When I hear people getting a degree in English, Sociology, Psychology, Something-Sudies.. and they rack up debt, I boggins my noggin (talking about boggin, it's time for my bogpill).
>tfw kicking it at a bar & grill and end up talking to strangers about education/work, and see their face when my middle age ass tells them "debt? what the hell is that? it's so alien to me."

Yup, i agree...I NEVER took a bank loan for anything...I paid cash and if I did not have the money..I did not buy it. I don't know why people go and get a huge bank loan and buy a bunch of stuff they don't need...start out small and find out what you need and buy it when you can...its SIMPLE.

So what were you doing? Selling recycled/refurbished computers? Sucks for you dad too, hope he'll be ok.

recycled computers/refub and also did alot with plastics and batteries from phones tools and well a wide range of things.
>Sucks for you dad too, hope he'll be ok.
His battle ended last year. Feel like its part my fault but thats another whole story

good luck stephan

so ur a brown?

How much money do you have left?

I had a business go downhill and hung till the end when I was severely in debt with $0 in the bank and regret holding on for so long.

desu I live in houston texas, if I weren't loading up a u-haul and moving to washington, I'd hit you up for any equipment that you don't want waiting in storage man

leaving anything is a bitter sorrow, don't worry about leaving things behind you can always start again if you're crafty enough.

really sorry for you user.. kudos to you for actually learning something from the journey. a lot of the fucks i have known literally learned nothing and ended up with worse than what they started with.

good luck in the future, and remember, Veeky Forums is here for you.

also fuck your friend

well...the whole started to go in debt happened already but could sell a bunch of stuff to get somewhat...right now I don't know what all I will make when its all said and done but should cover me and give time to get a plan going...or thats the..well plan lol
whats up in Washington? starting something up there?
>also fuck your friend
^^I want to shove a porcupine up his ass...i mean think about how much fun that would be to dig out...

Weed'll probably be legal all over U.S. soon, so any investments in weed gotta go up (as soon as weed stops being a meme-plant)
