Last night an user created a new WAVES-platform currency meant to be used to tip Veeky Forums posters who make valuable contributions.
Apparently, only 300 people got them but they have no value if they are not circulated. They are not meant to have a monetary value but are meant to give good feels to posters who provide value for you on this board in whatever form that takes.
I'll start handing them out in 5 minutes, 1000 at a time until I get tired of cutting and pasting addresses. I have 495K left.
