False premise.
There have been plenty of miracles since the invention of the camera almost two hundred years ago, what you are actually asking is why has no miracle been captured on camera in a convincing way in close to two hundred years.
A). Cameras did not achieve true ubiquity until the last ten years, prior to that they were expensive specialist items
B). Until recently any amateur cameras in widespread use were primitive contraptions with limited capabilities.
C). Cameras in general have inferior image resolution when compared to the human eye, and getting them to actually record a decent image in all light conditions is a complicated affair.
D). A still image is poorly suited for recording a momentous event, reliant on miraculous timing in itself to capture an image that not only records the event clearly but establishes a clear narrative as well. Moving cameras obviously obviate this problem but they are even more effected by the vulnerabilites I listed prior, being more expensive, more complicated, and less ubiquitious to still cameras until recently.
Until the tsunami of 2004 there were no good photographs of tsunamis despite the camera existing since 1830, would you have been puzzled by that as well?

Owning a camera is not the same thing as having one on you at all times of the day as is the case with cellphone cameras. What good is your cute little Olympus XA when you stumble across big foot in the woods when you left it home in your sock drawer?
Besides as I already pointed out amateur cameras have limited capabilities compared to professional models, due to fixed lens, primitive automation, and other "features" added in order to create an idiot proof mass-market version of a precision instrument.
