But Hezbollah paints itself as some sort of resistance. The propaganda of ISIS sets it apart from other islamic terrorista groups, like Al Qaeda, by presenting itself not as the plucky underdog resisting western imperialismo but as mighty conquerors.
Also, ISIS has been genociding several religious minorities (Yazidis, Christians and weaker Muslim sects) and gays. This lends itself well to comparisons with the Holocaust.

There are literally dozens of isis "copycat" groups out there that have been operating for years. It's not so much a case of "neo-ISIS" as it is closer to "neo-alqaeda" (al shabaab, jamaat islamiyah, caucasus emirate, boko haram, al nusra, AQI, AQIM, etc). Then you have the older usual suspect like Hizbut tahir, muslim brotherhood, taliban, hamas, hezbollah, PKK - and they inspire their own mini offshoots and cells. Only normies believe ISIS is the only radical muslim insurgency group out there and they are in for a rude awakening when they come to the realisation the collapse of ISIS (which is finally bound to happen this year or the next) changes absolutely fuck all.
