even when the Hungarians were allied with the Germans during WW2 they still stayed true to us.

The Hungarians refused to let Wehrmacht troops invade through Hungarian borders. During the closing of the September Campaign, the Hungarians let Poles escape into Hungary, on their way to Romania. During the Warsaw Uprising, a Hungarian Sergeant and his men marched to Warsaw to fight for the Poles

Britain and Portugal
Britain and the USA
Poland and Hungary
Sweden and Finland
France and Spain
Russia and Prussia
Britain and Prussia
Russia and France
Denmark and Norway

That's all that springs to mind.

I know it sounds ironic but I'm serious.

America-Russia.

Russia helped America in the war against Britain.
America helped Russia in WW1.
America literally helped Russia during a famine.
America literally saved Russia's life in WW2.

The Soviet Union had such a big trust into America that they were willing to give up everything they believed in and dissolved and become weaker, so weak that they almost collapsed, just to be ideologically closer to America.

When does such a thing even happen? Also both detest Europe.. and Islam.. and China.

Also the god damn space race where both countries and all of humanity profited from their rivalry. And everyone profited from nukes too and MAD.

Those countries only pretend to hate each other but in fact they have every reason to love each other.

please stop posting

americans are so fucking cringey in their obsession with russians

>France and Spain
Just no.

Frenemies

NATO?

Basically the Anglosphere.

This is honestly to most clear cut example. And those aren't related sister nations or anything like that.

Polak Wegier dwa bratanki!
Lengyel Magyar két jó barát!

Morocco was the first country to ally with the United States and is our longest standing friend, dating back to 1787.

Good luck explaining to the average American that the United States' oldest friend is a 99% Muslim country.
