Because murder is to waste life, you kill to satisfy your own needs to grow and survive, while denying others the same privilege.

Only in certain cases.

Killing the enemies of your government is not wrong.

because it hurts a few people's feeling

>>Killing the enemies of your government is not wrong.
depends also on the weapons. Liberals donot like gases, but they do not mind bullets

It's on mutual agreement that it would suck if your fellow man whimsically whisked your life away.

>Liberals don't like gases
As oppose to conservatives?

evolution
in order to preserve the species its not beneficial to kill someone
if you treaten someones life, they will do everything to preserve theirs, possibly end up killing you
it also escalates violence because it might trigger vengeance

its against logic and our nature

conservatives are also liberal

>is not beneficial to the species
>is not beneficial to you
>is something that triggers violence
>you ought not do it
has hume taught you nothing?

Also if murder wasn't wrong the inferior people would be far more likely to kill the superior people in order to get a mate, thus slowing evolution.

Would you like to get murdered?

...

Would I like to be fucked in the ass? No but some people would.

Also, not an argument.

Are you okay with being murdered yourself?

I don't like it \=/ It's wrong.

because you broke the contract of your society by doing so.
also because you may now have endangered your own well-being by doing so

Is a slave fleeing breaking the contract of his society?

Because it seriously hurts intra- and inter-societal relations, therefore decreasing your recreational fitness.

i am life in the midst of life that whats to live

It makes it wrong FOR YOU. Guess what? Most other people ALSO find murder to be wrong FOR THEM, so collectively humans have banned it outright, despite the fact there are people for whom murder is not wrong (such as psychopaths and religious zealots).

Because it's totally a dick move.

Murder is an unmutual action though.

Killing people whom you share genes with, and you probably shared genes with people around you before civilization, is a bad strategy for spreading and preserving genes.
So we evolved mechanisms to prevent it, and one of those is disliking murder and murderers, and having empathy and such.

So it is biologically wrong, from the view point of the gene.
And because of that it feels wrong, so it's "wrong".

If you are intentionally abstaining from sex and masturbation, this is as "wrong" as murder, ignoring the society/civilization part.

Now, in society and civilization, it is obvious why murder is wrong. The pact is you don't kill people, and they don't kill you. The moment you kill, everyone starts fearing for their life, until you are killed.
So its wrong, because it breaks the pact that allows so many of us to compete in such a small place.

Conservatives don't exist.
Today's conservative is last generation's liberal, trying to "conserve" the recent liberal gains.
Next generation the "conservative" will be trying to "conserve" whatever it is this generation of liberals achieves.

The moment the liberals passed one single reform, the conservatives went extinct.
Just call them outdated liberals, it fits better.

There is evidence of protecting people with close genes but it doesn't extend out past near relations.
>And because of that it feels wrong
Source?

Source to what, empathy existing?

One's future is among the most valuable things one holds; murder takes away the aggrieved party's future, and is thus one of the worst of all thefts.

If it feels wrong why do people do it?

People do wrong things all the time. Being morally imperfect is part of human nature.

That doesn't answer the question.

Monarchists are the real conservatives.

you aren't going to do enough of it to impact the global situation unless you're genghis khan. you'll end up just upsetting people and the one you killed will be replaced by a new, shittier one. even if you only kill shitty people the increased shittiness will lead to an increased birth rate and you end up with more shitty people than you started with.

It does not mean you are morally imperfect if you murder someone. Our morals are a consequence of our unique evolutionary progression. They are, at their most basic, instinctual perceptions shaped over the course of time. Shaped not just to ensure survival but to ensure the increase of potential for survival as a community of individuals. Killing, from the murders perspective, may be a way of culling the herd. This way of thinking could emerge from the same place morals do, possibly explaining why these people have the conviction to carry out these urges.

>the one you killed will be replaced by a new, shittier one
This isn't a video game you geek

Yes

It isnt, nothing is

because youre only supposed to kill other humans if ordered to do so by a appropriate authority, bar legal contingencies like selfdefense, which again is only ok if the one youre defending yorself against isnt acting on orderes from or affiliated with the aforementioned appropriate authorities

othervise anybody could just kill anyone and how would that ever be controlled

>appropriate authority

what if you are the authority? can you kill anyone you want because there is nobody above you to say otherwise?

Its counter productive.

the authority is just enforcing the mandate of the people

If you want to lose all your power and possibly get lynched, sure.

It's unempathetic
>inb4 sociopathic spook-poster spam

i was asking about whether or not it would be wrong though, unless you mean that something is wrong if there are unfavourable consequences for it

Muh feels.

it's not wrong
it's only wrong under most circumstances

people agree what the circumstances are, most of the time

You're saying it is wrong, which is a truth claim, which presupposes there is such a thing as wrong, and correspondingly such a thing as right.

You are making truth claims about right and wrong, good and evil, without noting the objective basis upon which humanity can make such judgments reliably.

God.

Without God, there is no objective basis for morality.

And for those of us wise enough to know God, murder is wrong because God said it is wrong: Thou Shalt Not Murder.

Momentary mental breakdown, or long term mental issues.
Only broken people murder, weather they are broken for just a few moments due to shock or fear, or if they are really broken psychopaths.

If you murder, there is something wrong with you.

It honestly depends on the set of morality that you adhere to but a couple common are
>Self interest
You don't want people murdering you
>Sacredness of Human life
>Social Order
>Removing Possible Future Happiness
