Asterix and Obelix
Gummie bears
Girls und panzer

not really historical besides being set in the early 80's (which is neat)

but this is one of the few drama shows that I like

Is it on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, anything like that?

/thread

no idea, i use moviebox to watch it on my phone

Is this actually good? I only watched the first two episodes and quit because the main characters seemed to have obvious plot armor.

How the hell has no one mentioned Deadwood yet? Fucking cocksuckers.

Deadwood had the potential of becoming the best show of all time if HBO and the degenerate gambler of a creator could manage the budget. I love The Sopranos and Rome as much as the next guy, but Deadwood would have been truly GOAT if it wasn't fucking aborted.

Also,
>tfw no civil war/wild west show with the production value of westworld

It's on FX. I'm only on Season 3, but it's a very comfy show with great acting.

SS-GB
The Last Kingdom

>borgia
This is important! Borgia NOT Borgias

>Is this actually good?

No it's bad. I finished season 1. The writing is super lazy and the main characters are so unlikable I mostly rooted for the Brits. If it wasn't a Netflix original they crammed down your throat no one would have heard of it.

Hell On Wheels
Turn: Washington's Spies
HBO's Rome
Black Sails
Vikings
Band of Brothers
The Pacific
Generation Kill

You're supposed to root for the Brits.

This
Hell on Wheels is GOAT
Black Sails and TURN are close
Vikings was good until the latest season.
Band of Brothers and The Pacific are bretty gud too.

>Rome ride and fall
>not Ancient Rome ride and fall
>ISHHING Caesar was the trump of his day
Can we just IP ban Americans

>last kingdom
>literally made by an American so he could feel pride in his ancestors

Worth pointing out that all these modern shows with excessive amounts of tits and slit throats are all trying to copy The Tudors

MFW Wolf Hall hasn't been mentioned

fucking Zuckerberg, everytime

This. Also the old Jeeves and Wooster TV show is set during the interwar period.

Generation War
Band of Brothers
The Borgias
Spartacus: Sex and Gore
Deutschland 83
The Pillars of the Earth
Vikings (not actually historical)
Nisse Hult

HORNBLOWER

Borgia gets points for better costuming, sets and historical feel overall

Loses for terrible stilted dialog that only a few of the actors are talented enough to save

>Historical
>TV Shows

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
