1) you badgered your dad enough to get 100 bucks or so. You have to put up with his smugness now.

2) your dad heard about crypto and you acted like you knew all about it. He gave you a few thousand but could afford to lose it.

Discuss the situation, showing some other coins and ask whether he would prefer to cash out what is left, and you can pay him bits from salary deductions or ask if you can owe him the full amoun, keep your crypto and start paying him off in instalments.

Looks like you will be working all summer to pay him back.

3) somehow your dad was desperate and trusted you with savings, or debt, or money reserved for something and now it's gone.

Option 3 is the hardest user, in a sense it's not all your fault and a hard way to learn this lesson.
