Was women's suffrage a mistake?

Was women's suffrage a mistake?

women do have a track record of supporting fascists and communists

>fascism
>bad

How's middle school?

yes.

Evidence is kicking around at the moment that women don't really think beyond people they immediately know so bigger groupings like nations don't really factor into their decision-making. With this in mind keeping women from voting seems like a sort of reasonable idea since they're more likely to vote for petty reasons.

But then I think suffrage in general was a mistake so whatever.

If it was, introducing autists to the computer was a bigger one.

women are temperamental statists/collectivists and thus vote as their fifth column.
Greek plays were written and performed by a male monoculture, thus with no women around, they could speak the truth about them.

>user presents evidence supporting an argument
>f-fucking autist

>>user presents evidence supporting an argument
>Just prefaces statement with "Evidence says"

That's now it works.

yes

There was no way to stop women getting the vote once they decided as a class that they wanted it. It's not like keeping the vote from the poor, who you might never meet day-to-day, everyone has women in their lives and no-one likes to be nagged. Men may rule the world, but women rule men.

>no way to stop women getting the vote once they decided as a class that they wanted it

Why? They couldn't vote, what are they going to do?

>women as a class

user

>Why? They couldn't vote, what are they going to do?

Try reading to the end of the line before replying to a post next time, dumb-dumb.

>keeping the vote from the poor, who you might never meet day-to-day

maybe you don't

>women rule men

maybe women rule you because you GAVE THEM THE FUCKING VOTE

No, you DUMB bastard. I wasn't alive at the time, I gave them nothing, I'm talking about the men in the position to give women the vote, which was the wealthy and the aristocratic. You think THEY mingled with the poor regularly? Or cared what they had to say? Do you think THEY could have simply ignored their wives and mothers, these very proper, very gentlemanly gentlemen?

"I don't like the way someone votes" isn't a reason to disenfranchise someone. What's to stop women from disenfranchising white men because they vote for authoritarians?

If you are trying to imply that voters in general often have any fucking clue what they're voting for and aren't just memeing, I can't take your opinion seriously.

If you said 60% of men shouldn't be allowed to vote and 75% of women shouldn't be allowed to vote, that would make more sense to me.

No. Universal suffrage was the mistake.

its yet another episode of /r9his

no, letting people who don't own property vote was a mistake

>socialism happens because women vote for it
how many women voted for the commies in russia?

He doesn't know about lenins wife, rosa Luxembourg, etc etc
