Is there a historical explanation for American aversion to Easter? How can a country founded on such strong Christian principles simply neglect the most joyous day in all of Christendom?

protest ant 'tism

it's unbiblical

>Americans
>proper Christians
They lack so much faith they will only take things mentioned thrice in the bible and nothing else. This helps explain why it took them so long to accept the idea of Darwinian evolution even though it still leaves room for God in it
T. Catholic who did A Level RS and now doing biochemistry

In seriousness, it's because Easter is always on a Sunday. Therefore, there is no need to take a day off work.

>worshipping a communist sudaca in a pointy hate

tenges a regresar

A story of betrayal? A story of suffering? A story of rebirth... and a new hope?

Protestantism
What else could it be?

>Americans
>not making a big deal of Easter

If you Eurofags would actually set foot in America you'd realize that half of American Christians ONLY go to church on Easter, maybe Christmas.

A question without an answer?

>dude just like no authority
Reminder that America has less social mobility than most countries and even some communist shit holes
Not a new hope persay, but hope for the gentiles
Proofs?
Why would we want to be in a foreign country during Easter anyway.

But we don't?

t.American celebrating Easter

>Why would we want to be in a foreign country during Easter anyway.
>instead make unverified claims about said foreign country on the internet

really toasted my oats.

>American aversion to Easter?

What? Where are you getting this idea from? It's one of the major holidays, it gets celebrated plenty in America.

>American aversion to Easter?
What are you on about? Its a big deal here in Alabama.

Lies

Some may say otherwise, but this whole board is just a Serious Discussions® exodus from /int/

Everyone's fucking closed in Texas except for the yankee chain restaurants

I don't care but seems most do, most people are picnicking

Can someone explained where this idea that Americans don't celebrate Easter came from? We have a special confectionery treat made specifically for that holiday.

But do you consume this supertasty chocy treat?

kinder surprises are garbage-tier, cadbury creme eggs are where its fucking at

You could. It's not like anything is really ever banned in a world with international delivery and the internet.

>Americans have to secretly order kinder eggs from darknet

>America
>aversion to Easter

>Let me tell you about your country. Hurrr durrr derp

Americans are impressionable people and easily swayed by marketing/corporations, a candy company says easter eggs are bad because they don't like the competition and they believe it.

You can get most stuff you want just using the normal internet that's accessible through search engines. Darknet always seemed to me like a stupid way to accidentally make it look like you were trying to hire a hitman or download a bunch of child porn. Like all the commerce hubs outside of the normal internet are set up specifically to try to mix up your own transactions with the transactions of people doing way more fucked up stuff than you.

Tu español es una mierda casi tan grande como tu pais gringuito

can you get v& by FBI for ordering kinder surprises? I've heard it's on par with downloading CP now.
