Did he know there was a surgical operation to fix that lazy eye?
Also, grew up in a radicalized religious household so probably one of the most dangerous people to put in charge of men.
>Builds massive military industrial complex
>Complains about it

I wish only that we could have that decade's qualities back, minus the soviets and communists

get thee to europe you damnable thorn

The reds were what made that time period so great. America needs a common enemy to unite against, otherwise they turn to each other.

that's a lie

Nice argument, friendo

fact is fact

I mean, it's not like there was ever any doubt.

1. Roosevelt (Imperialist).
2. Roosevelt (Commie).
3. McKinley
4. Harding
5. Eisenhoward
6. Wilson
7. Johnson
8. Clinton
9. "Cool"ige
10. Kennedy
11. Reagan
12. Truman
13. Bush Sr.
14. Hoover (did nothing wrong)

18. Taft

you have criminally undersold Nixon

*blocks your path*

*plays pokeflute*

*It has no effect.*

OP said 20th century.
Only one fatty per century allowed.

That's not Coolidge.

Although he was the best of the Cold War-era.

We have to carry his torch. We must end the Federal Reserve, and CIA.

there's a lot wrong with your post, for a start, you don't understand the nature of the cold war if you think it begins in the 20s

Objective top 5

1: FDR
2: Woodrow Wilson
3: Truman
4: Eisenhower
5: Ronald Regan

I meant Eisenhower you cave-dwelling ogre.

I was more referring to the fact that Cleveland was the biggest force behind American anti-imperialism

...

1: FDR
5: Ronald Regan

Do you understand politics?

I don't care about politics, but I do care about its consequences.

Out of all 19th century presidents yes.
But then there's this guy.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Brackett_Reed

I recommend the book "War Lovers." It's about Roosevelt, Hearst and Lodge, their desire to go to war and Reed's opposition to that.

But Cleveland was awesome in his own right. Harding and Coolidge were his spiritual successors from a different party.

Well both led disastrous economic policies so they have that in common.
And Wilson but unlike all others this guy didn't do anything right.

Eh, he completely dropped the ball with the space race. That's why I'm hesitant to agree with you.

Agreed.

That is a complete meme with no truth.

No, he's right. The first red scare was in the 20s.

Space race is a fascinating story but not that relevant to the world of politics today. His presidency lacked major crises (even the shot down plane was handled professionaly). If I remember he wanted the Soviets to fire their Sputnik first because of possible legal issues or some shit.

>No, he's right. The first red scare was in the 20s.

that happened, but it's not the cold war

Well the comment wasn't about the 20s so everything is good.

With global warming, overpopulation, etc. I would say the need for space tech is more dire than ever.

However, I agree with you that there was no major scandal and that otherwise he was a good president. The highways system in particular was a good idea.

Can you elaborate on the legal issues surrounding Sputnik?

Yea and then use the reds to savagely red-bait the leftists in the country

>but muh leftists aren't people
Disgusting us vs them mentality

in a lot of ways leftists that run amok ruin nice things

I guess it's related to his plan that was rejected by the Soviets.

history.com/this-day-in-history/eisenhower-presents-his-open-skies-plan

Are you trying to tell me that breaking national unity by red baiting them is justified coz they hurt your personal and subjective feelings?

newsweek.com/real-sputnik-story-103299

Better article. But I'm still not sure if it's 100% real. I think American technology just wasn't there yet.

projecting?

Thanks, I was ignorant of this.

No. I just find it absurd that one can pretend national unity after the massive red baiting of the leftists in 20 century and someone dares to justify it by saying that they run amok and ruin nice things.

Objective Top 5:
