Ancient Greeks develop schools of thought based on logic and reason
bad thread
Nice post
Logic and reason are gods in their own right, disgusting and impotent gods.
DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS THREAD ANYMORE
IT IS A BAIT THREAD
>mommy dragged me to church as a kid
>even as a fully grown adult, I will never get over this butthurt
>death to Christianity!
>I am sugar and spice and everything smart for hating Jesus
>plz join muh circle jerk
Not OP, but the reason I'm semi-buttblasted about religions is that I'm regularly thinking of how advanced humanity would be by now if people hadn't killed oppressed and destroyed each other due to their religions for centuries.
>atheism has never been tried
Nice post
>literally falling for reddit memes
user I can't even
1 Corinthians 1:22 For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles,
Yeah, no. I'm not an atheist either.
I'd just like it if people would place less value in religions.
Stopped reading at Christcucks, hope you grow out of your teenage phase.
Ancient Greeks developed Christianity also.
Christianity is the best thing that happened to Europe in terms of civilization.
>en.m.wikipedia.org
>tfw people believe this
Catholics aren't Christian
Didn't Socrates allegedly get put to death over saying that the gods weren't real?
loooooooooooooooooooooo0ooooooool
But I like b8
Yes, reddit. That's EXACTLY what happened.
epic ;)
humans gonna human, if it's not religion then it's something else they gonna violently abuse, oppress and destroy.
Because that's what our human race does best
>muh progression
I feel you, but I think you can extent this statement to all religions. Humans live in social constructs with all kinds of imbecile customs and traditions.
The legacy of the philosophers exists in books, but they failed to educate society as a whole. When christians came around people didn't live in some enlightened utopia.
The main problem is people weighing believe and hear-say more important than their own perception of the true nature of things.
>somebody says something inaccurate
>not even phrased as a statement, a very mild question, with the word "allegedly"
>YOU ARE CLEARLY FROM REDDIT REEEEEEE
Holy fuck you people are getting obsessed. It's pathetic.
>>christcucks come around
Which ones? There were several branches and not all of them believed the same things, some wouldn't even be called christians, as they loathed jesus and claimed he was a son of darkness.
>Ancient Greeks
>based on logic and reason
LMAO
you probably didn't even study Ancient Greek philosophy
en.wikipedia.org
Christianity and communism. What a strange and deadly convination.
Stop studying noble natales so much and study the reality of human nature a little more. People don't need religion to commit brutal acts, it's just our nature. Religion actually kinda helps to supress the natural instics even.
Another honest question:
Do you have autism?
Christianity is a Greek religion though
>not knowing basic babby tier history
>get fucking triggered by a little banter
come on lad
It was more he riled up the youth to be anti-establishment. Despite all their glorious individual achievements Greek polis were horrendously collectivist.
