Movie isn't even good as far as storytelling goes, let alone historicity.

Hard to say, but I'll have to go with Where Eagles Dare.

New russian version of Stalingrad is pretty lit

Hollywood tier garbage. This one however is good:

Afghan Breakdown. Absolutely incredible even if you don't know Italian or Russian.

I couldn't say if it was my favourite, but Fires On The Plain is amazing.

Boer history is so obscure. This isn't straight up history, but it's about white South Africans and has some cool battles with niggers.

Either A Bridge Too Far, The Longest Day or Battleground!. All feature veterans of the particular battles as actors in their respective films. My personal favorite is Battleground! but YMMV.
