It was truly communist under Mao zedong, and china suffered under him. It was deng who opened free markets within the country, that's when they started to make money off the world.
No one is talking about the soviets you mong
>it's only real communism if it fails
lmao this is what capitalist dicksuckers actually believe
meant to write CPC. Deng is utterly devoid of ideology. Even Mao was losing it after the Three Worlds Theory. Like there's nothing China can point to to show their commie credentials other than muh SoEs
>There are people in 2017 that consider themselves Maoists irl
What a fucking joke
Yeah this is a bad bait thread but I'll give you a (You).
this guy
So successful they pay you to shitpost this drivel on fortune all day.
So we're going to use the "it's wasn't real communism" argument, against communism?
Yeah, more like "national capitalism".
Reported for low quality bait.
No point in denying that Maoism/Stalinism isn't a subset of communism. But there's nothing wrong in pointing out that it was the only communist ideology tried on a mass scale in the 20th century and that it was frequently criticized by the Left for being opportunist and genocidal.
>communist
>state
It was Maoist turned socialist.
Meh in 3rd world countries I can see why someone would be a maoist, but middle class hipsters who've never ever done simple yard work being commies is just retarded.
So this one is real communism? finally?
lol no
Ye lol what an idiot for reading books.
It was a festering shitwound of murder and betrayal until Mao the stupid yellow butcher died
Then they got real and stopped being Marxist.
But along the way they killed their vest and brightest.
>no healthcare
>private ownership of the means of production
>no worker's rights
>ruled by oligarchs
At this point, the government is pimping the chinese workers out to foreign companies for profit.
Most of the post-mao reforms were influenced by Lee Kuan Yew, the guy who basically invented authoritarian asian hypercapitalism.
