Really activates those almonds

...

>The creator of the coin put in nothing
This scenario is already flawed, there is always a time expense in creating a coin and shilling it no matter how worthless it actually is.

/scams/ general?

how is wealth ever generated to begin with?

by making useful shit

>create a product people want to buy
>trade it with people

as hitler said

"For every mark issued, we required the
equivalent of a mark's worth of work done, or goods produced."

wealth is work done or goods produced

I just feel like "wealth transfer" is pretty much the definition of a currency. to generate wealth you need to go outside the currency, currency is just trading value for value evenly.

Imagine you are stranded on an island with 3 other people.
All 3 other people are fat and cannot walk far without complaining like little baby.
1 of the fat people knows how to catch fish, but not very well can only catch 3 fish a day.
1 of the fat people knows how to start a fire.
1 of the fat people is useless.
You are not fat, you are athletic. There are oranges on the other side of the island, too far for the fat people to walk.
You all need oranges so you don't die of scurvy.
You all need fish so you don't die of hunger.
You all need fire so you can cook the fish and keep warm.

You trade some oranges for some fish, the more oranges you go get, the more fish you can trade for.
You give some oranges to the fatty who starts and tends to the fire.
You don't give any oranges to the fatty who sits there all day doing nothing.

You start stockpiling oranges, you can afford to keep the fire going for ever, you can afford a constant supply of fish.
Nobody gives anything to the fatty doing nothing, he is poor, he dies, you win, you are king of the oranges.

Wealth is the crystallization of social labor.

>to generate wealth you need to go outside the currency
That's objectively untrue though

so its work done or goods produced.

how so? the aspect of "printing money"?

I mean that if gold was being used as a currency, it isn't like gold itself generates more value, gold just represents the value being exchanged. currencies are SUPPOSED to be zero sum is my point. all the generation comes from outside factors, like mining for more gold (labor)

Yes, so it is basically Pyramid scheme.

Yeah, but you can generate additional wealth for yourself just by holding a currency and not going outside of it. Wealth is being created for you, as payment for taking on risk.

but dollars that are poured into coins are printed from nothing by the hundreds of millions each day

this mindset can be applied to literally any commoditiy, USD and/or gold included.

All you have to say is "theres no actual value in [the starting point]"

gold holds as much value as a BTC. People agree it has a value, so it does.

>tfw

So pretty much the stock market? Pretty much everything valve is not created all money is a zero sum game. Dollar loses 10 percent valve every year

O but you say you put money in a house? The house will be rotted down to the ground in 100 years. Guess houses it a bad investment

only invest in btc

O you say you build a house that will last for a million years? It gets hit by a nuke and the radiation makes the million year old house unlivable
