Centuries of persecution and being genocided have ensured that only the smart ones are left.

Good environment + genetics + nepotism + high income jobs.
I wish jews focused more on physics and stuff like that rather than writing the umpteenth article about promoting hedonism or denouncing white people.

note, it's only Ashkenazi jews and not the other jewish ethnic groups that have 110+ average IQ (they were the ones in banking)

I'd like to see the wealth spread among jews. If they're on average a lot richer than other nationalities, it would easily explain their academic prominence without implying anything about their actual intelligence, especially since as a very small segment of larger societies they could easily just burrow their way into more profitable secotrs of the economy without needing to be part of the rest of it. Kinda like how cities are far richer than the countryside but they're absolutely reliant on it to exist.

Also regardless I have to point out for fairness that nobel prize assignments are a fucking disgrace on average. Not that it bears much weight on the argument, given the disparity.

It's because of their culture. Every Jewish man is expected to learn how to read their holy scripts to some degree. Centuries of promoting literacy has had an effect.

Of course there's that niggling issue of white raised blacks and blacks from wealthy families also performing worse than even poor whites...
Plus I'd actually like to see an equivalent study for jews and asians. If nothing else because they're not exactly average for wealth compared to the general population when immigrants, so they're likely to have an advantage. And I don't trust any data whatsoever coming out of China or SE Asia, they're too notorious for cheating on performance evaluations.
