If anything, BTC adopting segwit will be good for LTC. It's a major step into enabling cross-chain transactions.

No one knows. What we know is that it went up largely carried on hype of getting segwit while btc struggles to settle on a route for scaling.

Now BIP91 looks poised to pass in less than 7 hours. LTC has fallen a lot as signalling increased, it can only fall more once segwit is activated imo.

Of course if the market keeps growing, long term LTC might recover, or not. I'd dump and make a safer play. But then again I'm short on LTC so you probably shouldn't trust my word.
