As time goes by I have less and less desire to play Bannerlord. It's hyped too much, it can never live up to hype it has created. In the meantime, a whole bunch of other games did and are doing medieval, sandbox, directional attack, physics thingy.

I'm still in love with Warband, mods are still crazy. Actually, the only thing that I loved about Bannerlord is improved editor, but since they are still postponing it fuck it.

I love when I go on a mod page for Warband and there is message "project abandoned because of bannerlord" written five years ago.

It's Fire&Sword, and yes I bought it when it came out and I enjoyed every 400 hours of it. It has a nice, original setting and it is better optimized than Warband, which allows for bigger battles (I can increase the battle size to several hundreds and still have fluid framerate. I bet you didn't know that).

Considering the funnest thing about both M&B Classic and Warband were the mods and not the vanilla game (like, at all, it was actually very boring and its novelty wore out within a few days of playing), I don't think that would be accurate.

I wonder how they could manage that. Core gameplay mechanics and controls are a done deal and should just be a polished version of previous games. Basically the only way a release would piss anyone off is if multiplayer was shit or it was much harder to mod.
