If there was no Islam, would Western civilization include the middle east and north africa?

If there was no Islam, would Western civilization include the middle east and north africa?

Yeah

Does you definition of Western includes countries from South America(religion, arts, music, literature) or does it mean "first world countries with a majority hwhite population plus japan"?

a lot of those south/central american nations are just natives LARPing as hispanics.

we wuv conquistidors and shit.

WITNESSED

Obviously I'm referring to countries like Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Chile

FUCK

Let's take Brazil for example:
>According to an autosomal DNA study (the autosomal study is about the sum of the ancestors of a person, unlike mtDNA or yDNA haplogroup studies, which cover only one single line), the "pardos" in Rio de Janeiro were found to be predominantly European, at roughly 70%
>Another autosomal DNA study has confirmed that the European ancestry is dominant throughout in the Brazilian population, regardless of complexion, "pardos" included.
pardo = any kind of biracial or triracial

it's hard to tell because so many things would have developed differently but considering that the church schisms often went along cultural lines (latin vs. greek etc.) i feel that western europeans would still end up thinking of middle easterners and north africans as culturally distinct from their sphere.

even today there are european countries that aren't always considered a part of western civilization without being islamic, e.g. russia, eastern europe, the balkans etc. and it doesn't seem to be related to having been ruled by muslims historically either - the balkans mostly aren't included but spain and italy are.

Malta is an interesting case in this context, being a semitic (arabic) speaking christian country, part of the EU etc. Do people consider Malta a part of Western Civilization?

There might not be a concept of Western Civilization as we know it without Islam.

Hispanic is a cultural term. You can perfectly be a native hispanic.

Areas held by the Eastern Roman Empire would still be considered "The East"

Assuming somehow there isn't another huge event that causes a cultural rift, the biggest split would be between Rome and Constantinople rather than between the Christians and the Muslims.

A lot of European nations are just g*erman rape babies LARPing as romans.

we wuz civilization'n shit

No

>plus japan"?
You'd have to be a fool to call Japan a Western Nation. Japan is as Eastern as they come.

QUINTS DON'T LIE

Your time will come gringo.

Holy shit how will indios ever recover?

the "west" is a very vague term

delete this

Silly Paco if you turn the usa into mexico where will you escape to?

California is already pretty much majority latino already and it is one of the best and wealthiest states in america

being carried by silicon valley and hollywood which are predominately white, asian, and jewish

>Greece where western civilisation started is not considered part of western civilisation
What?
