def not gonna do it now if im honest with you

>He is best known for the 1986 Atari ST game Starglider and helping to design the Super FX chip used in Star Fox for the Super NES.

Neat
Now how the fuck does that take me to lamboland?

nice he made some game. who cares

I bought a bunch when it was around 2 cents. I am NOT happy.

He's building provably fair random number generation smart contracts that will power casinos and other blockchain based games. The technology funfair uses is based on state channels. Basically, the cost for interacting with the game/dapp is severely reduced. instead of using eth gas on each interaction like etheroll or edgeless, the smart contract opens and closes a state channel. You can read more about it here

blog.stephantual.com/what-are-state-channels-32a81f7accab

this is more of a long term investment, as funfair is the infrastructure that will be used to power provably fair blockchain games in the future.

I would buy it IF it was Starfox 64. Loved that game.

i bought it at 1.1k lmao get fucked retard

NICE. I actually did buy some FUN the other day at 418 sats. I literally did it just for fun.

So someone explain to me what FunFair actually is.

Nice, my man. Im very bullish on FUN. Im a developer myself. People dont realize how many of their favorite games or entire game genres are built on top of random number generation. Crypto gambling is already a huge industry, yet the user always has to trsut the administrator of the site. With funfair, the numbers are generated by a smart contract, so theres no chance of the house having an edge or ability to cheat you.

Provably fair random generation infastructure that lives in eth smart contracts. The main difference between funfair and etheroll/edgeless is that they are providing the smart contracts as a backend for any game developer to tie into.

The main developer also has solid credentials as aveteran of the gaming industry. He designed the graphics chip that made starfox possible on the snes. see

its still under 500 sat, i'll buy in sometime in august since this coin isn't gonna be doing anything for a while.

this is a hell of an opportunity

Same here. When they rollout a lot of their implementations, this will be a good coin to have on hand. I bought a bunch at 600, then more when it hit the 400 mark.

bought a fuckton of these under 500

I'm hodling some, but I don't have much hope for the coin. Online gambling? There's a billion sites like that already. Online crypto gambling? That's like 50% of the DApps on the ethereum network.

The crypto crowd probably isn't into video poker, and grandma who is into video poker doesn't know shit about crypto.

All those services you mentioned have one flaw: they require trust from the end user that the developer/maintainer of the service isnt fucking them over on the RNG. Trustless and distributed technology will absolutely disrupt online gambling industries, including non-crypto ones

Where did you get it? New to crypto here but OP seems to know his shit. Im a /v/irgin lurker here, but i understand the importance of random numbers in gaming and gambling industries. Normie facebook games are full of them

The legitimate traditional gambling sites are regulated by law just like casinos, and the crypto gambling dapps are open source.

FUN is just another ETH dapp. The only difference is that it includes its own token instead of just using ETH. It's not exactly groundbreaking here.

Bought it with Bitcoin on Bittrex

Did you read the whitepaper? They are providing a platform for casino developers and operators to source their RNG from.

>FUN is just another ETH dapp. The only difference is that it includes its own token instead of just using ETH. It's not exactly groundbreaking here.
It's not just "another dapp". The eth dapps you are thinking of don't use state channels, which is a technology that allows faster and cheaper interaction with the smart contract without having to commit a transaction with each interaction, imposing a gas fee on the user. You should really look into 'fate channels' (state channels that provide rng). It's in the whitepaper

from funfair.io/platform/
"FunFair is a revolutionary blockchain technology platform that enables anyone, anywhere to create an online casino in seconds

Using Ethereum and our own Fate Channel solution, we can deliver a gaming platform that’s more transparent than traditional online casinos, and both faster and more efficient than any blockchain casino"

I would say that this is pretty groundbreaking in the sense that its something other developers can build casinos and games on, while taking advantage of complex state channel technology

Thanks. Just bought 45k

...

>tfw holding until next year for minimum 10K profit

nice OC senpai

WE /AIRDROP/ NOW
post ur eth addresses

? It's just buzz words. The exact same statement would apply to any gambling dapp on the ethereum network.

Are we having fun yet?

how is losing money FUN?

Nice just bought 100k

nigger do you not understand what state channels on ethereum do? they enable gambling without having to pay for each and every roll of the dice. if you can't understand the implications of this you should sell me your bags. the difference between this and other gambling dapps is that its cheaper for the end user to play. maybe you should read the website or whitepaper before you invest in stuff. you clearly dont have a solid understanding of ethereum or solidity features such as state channels provide for blockchain gaming. etheroll and edgeless are gen one experimentations with naive assumptions at best. just as ethereum provides an open platform for dapps, funfair will provide an open platform for decentralized gaming on the blockchain.

tl;dr using state channels allows funfair to operate with lower costs to the end user without having to pay GAS on each roll/transaction. they are also providing a platform for other developers to build and operate their own decentralized casinos utilizing their rng smart contracts.

I need the eth

this is for FUN (funfair)

This. Don't forget it's also much faster to play casino games this way instead of waiting x seconds before you can make another bet. It's going to be adopted in due time, not buying will be a big mistake, and if a good chunk of the remaining supply is burned in September things could change pretty quickly.

yeah this guy knows what he's doing....r..right anons? moon?

>implying he doesnt have the credentials to work in blockchain gaming
