Why does EA have black characters in the game when it is a well known historical fact that blacks did not serve in the military at that time?

They've overplayed it without a doubt, but there were actual Negro combat soldiers for the US. By WW2 they were no longer allowed to be combat soldiers.

>Why isn't this video game produced by a multinational corporation that is primarily concerned with making money 100% historically accurate in an age when diversity sells and where exclusively white soldiers would be denounced
HMMM THIS IS A REALLY HARD QUESTION TO ANSWER, WE SHOULD HAVE A HISTORY THREAD ON THE HISTORY BOARD ABOUT IT
The presence of female soldiers triggers me a lot more than the presence of black soldiers. Blacks did fight in the war. In extremely small numbers, yeah, but they were there. Women soldiers? Nope. Complete and utter fiction with no basis in reality whatsoever.
pls don't be racist it is triggering to my fellow comrades
>In the name of the tsar
>tfw you'll never play as a bolshevik
Trash
I don't remember anyone denouncing Verdun for being 100% male and white,.
Okay I will make the proper edits

>tfw when you'll never be able to kill a bolshevik
>WWI game where automatic rifles are littered around the battlefield
>WWI game where soldiers are dressed in metal plate armor carrying portable gatling guns and somehow almost invulnerable to bullets
>WWI game where Allied tanks are for some reason being operated by the Ottomans and Austrians
>complaining about black people in a video game
It's honestly past the point where I care, Dice put entertainment value first and and just used the history piece as a setting.
admittedly, playing an authentic WWI game where you sit in a trench until it's time to go over and get mowed by machine gun fire wouldn't be much fun, so I can only complain so much with a game I honestly have fun with.
Because it's played by less than a thousand people. Niche shit can get away with it.
EA has no interest in historical accuracy. It wants to reach as many markets as possible and including black people is a way to do that.
>M-muh sjws
This has nothing to do with social justice. It's all about money. When diversity stops selling, companies will move away from it. In the meantime, understand that the current economic structure is a powdered whore that will sell itself out to anyone.

Expecting a Battlefield game to be more than "grounded" in reality is pretty stupid to begin with desu

Russia deployed female combat troops in 1917.
