Finally reached 100k € Veeky Forums

Started trading with roughly 1k € at the beginning of 2017. Also started a few months back on bittrex with $1k and I have almost reached $20k there.

I mostly trade ETH and BTC. So much dumb money in ETH it (was) a gold mine. I only daytrade pretty much, 95% of my nights I stay in fiat. I'd rather miss out on big gains than wake up to have lost a ton of money next day.

BCH finally pushed the last 20k €

Congrats senpai. Now buy Iconomi since you're on kraken already.

Which project do you think has the most promise?

Congrats man

Iconomi

Share tips with us, senpai.

teach me, master

Congrats OP.

My 1200 Bancor will get me there. I have faith.

theres an american made guitar that jimi, floyd, and eddie all favored. that is the coin

just started day trading and im definitely getitng the hang of it.

My problem is fees. I feel like there is more money is shorter term swings but the fees make them break even. Those levels are where I believe the money is at.

any tips on what exchange I hsould be on? currently margin/swing trading on kraken.

How do you prepare your trades? What do you look for and what sort of time intervals do you trade?

Thanks, just reached 100k!

what's the fees on kraken ?

What kind of profit do you aim per trades ? 2-3%?

IOTA > Stratis

Well done brother.

Hello schwule user, ummm, why don't you have a seat over there and wait for Mutti Merkel, she needs some of those shekels for tax purposes, danke viele.

I don't care about promise. All coins except Bitcoin are the same to me. What I do watch for is how much hype and attention something gets and watch the graphs like a hawk to find a good entry point.

Don't be scared to get rid off a bad trade. Seriously. If something drops a few % just sell and go away for a few minutes. Since I mostly trade ETH & BTC I might let go off a bad entry point after a 0.5% drop or so.

Trade enough on Kraken. When you reach $10mil in trade volume you'll have 0 maker fees and 0.1% taker fees. I believe this is the best out of all platforms. Be a maker not a taker.

Volume is the most important. Down or up doesn't matter. Trading when BTC or ETH is sidelining can be done if you cba but I usually skip those days for most part.

I hold a position from a few seconds to an hour or two at most usually. I'm not afraid to take profit and I'm not afraid to get rid of a losing hand, even if that loss is in the 100s or 1000s already.

Goes from 0.2/0.3 to 0.0/0.1 with $10+ mil in trading volume.

Any profit minus fees is a good trade. If I do 1% I'm happy. All the 1%s adds up when you trade enough. I rarely ever have a trade that nets me more than a few %.

can you post some orders from your history ?

the initial amount you invested, can you work out what it would be worth right now if you just held?

Good time to buy iconomi now? what's the forecast looking like in the short term?

2285€ + 400€ from the BCH. (I started with 1 BTC)

A typical example of a swing trade, buy and sell a few %, don't be greedy.

Buy it whenever the hype for BCH dies, I sold at 0.125 and will buy back whenever I feel confident in it. The problem with ICN is that a whale bot manipulates the price so fucking much.

Welcome to the 100x Club.

When you sell, do you sell for Euros? I was under the impression most people trade cryptocurrencies against BTC. Exchanging BTC for fiat for me ends up taking so much in fees

Yeah 90% of my trades are in the /EUR pairs, except ICN and bittrex or when the price on the ratio is different from the euro/usd price.

Thanks, do you just buy the dumps? And wait for it to go up? Or do you buy at a point where it's already going up?

that screenshot looks dope as fuck
congrats

Do you set stop losses or manually sell if you think the trade is going the wrong way

how do you determine whether you believe a coin is going to go up?

do you trade through kraken interface or use cryptowat.ch?

also which indicators are you using to base your decisionmaking on? any tips for retards on this front?

I don't leave the computer with a position open. All my buy and sells are done manually. I have coded my own bot that helps me with some things related to placing orders though.

ty

Yeah buying dumps is the best way to make a quick buck, just be quick to sell the bounce up so you don't get fucked.

how do you know when its good time to daytrade

how many % gains do you exit.

how do you quickly make maker orders??

cryptowatch has a free 14 day trial im going to be signing up for.

>be bored
>type random numbers
>take screenshot
>go post on biz and pretend you made that money from 1k.
>people actually fall for it
wew lad

i follow a bunch of Day Traders who make six figures,

it's possible if you know what you are doing,

the Problem is getting to the point of where you know what you are doing. 95% of people get wiped out cause they think they know what they are doing, how to read charts, MA's , Volume, etc.... they dont know nearly as well as they think and they get fucked.

And where the fuck can I learn that shit?

What do you mean there was "dumb money" in ETH? As in people who wouldn't hold so you would just buy the dip?

Whatever has big volume is a good target to daytrade.

No real target. Whenever I get the feeling we have hit a ceiling and a dump / downtrend might commence I sell, no hesitating or crying over lost gains.

The emotional aspect is by far the hardest thing to manage.

books on day trading and candlestick charting techniques,

When will ETH go back to 156EUR so I can buy back in without losing 40 ETH

Any recommendations?

What platform do you use?

Kraken

>The emotional aspect is by far the hardest thing to manage.

True, FOMO is real as a newbie trader

you don't care about the future of crypto? don't want to settle down with a nice coin?

Trade for a Living ,

and

japanese candlestick charting techniques, 2nd edition

Which Trade for a Living tho?
There are so many of them. Which author?

typo sorry,

Trading for a Living by Alex Elder

Thanks.

Btw wow these are old. Forex used to be a thing 20 years ago?

the basics dont change that much over time, and once you learn the basics you can use it on this bullshit, the Dow, Forex, etc.....

Hi I'm in Australia and the only company I've been able to use is coinspot and they charge 3% per trade. I own 30 odd eth. Can u recommend a way to use a diff company so I can make profit$?

3% is correct

Any actual recommendation for books? There is a fuckton

anything that applies to forex/stocks also applies to crypto but tenfold

you read any books?

No clue senpai. Maybe Kraken works for you aussies? Their trading engine is shit but I'd take that over 3% fee which is honestly complete madness

Hey OP, you sound like a down to earth guy that knows his stuff.

Is there some place I could follow you? Twitter, tradingview, whatever?
I think I could learn a lot from you

Well, ya know. 3% on the profit + 3% on the buy... how the hell do I make any profits on that?

Can you give the name of some daytraders you follow thanx

What time of the day is the best for day trading crypto? Which time zone are you on?

Would also like to know what timezone your referencing.

I'm active from 9-10 in the morning to 03-04 in the night CEST (EU)

From 1k to 100k in some months.
If this is real (i dont think so) you never traded with something like a risk management and it is more or less luck. You could go to casino with your 1k and make it to 100k and you just need one day.
Good day traders make a coupe of %percent of performance a months, and need a bankroll at least of 250k. Risk management would be you risk per trade 1-5% and then you can't win gain so fast, but you even can't lose so fast. Lets say this bait is real, it could be possible, there are some luckers, there are even people who bought eth for 5 $ and sold it for 500 $ if they just invested 1k they made 100k too, but the market depends on demand and supply, if you win so much, any other loses.
With every Winner from 1k- to 100k there are one or more losers of 99k. I mean dont feed this troll its just a kiddy with html skills.
Funny thing is that you calling it dumb money, you are the really dumb, but stupidity can bring some money, cause you think you are the real trader pimp with your neckbeard and go with 1k allin then eth went up 20percent a day and you traded it with 5x or more then you doubled in just one day. Continue it. The market the last months was easy if you went long, which i thought you did, and it is easy if you went short the last days. But you are one of the dumb money traders, because your system is full of shit and consists of luck, if you real have 100k from 1k you shouldn't thank yourself, just thank the god of luck and the other guy(s) who weren't lucky and lost this money.

the most real day traders, don't need publicity. For what? They made money with trading. You follow guys with papertrade accounts or baits like OP, who want to sell you strategy, or earning some dollars with ads and cpc.
OP just want here some admiration for his html skill or with an very rare possibility with his skills of stupidity and luck at the right time
