>Vastly improve the french economy, infrastructure, and merchant marine, singlehandedly allowing France to remain a great power for the next 50 years
>People still think you were a bad leader because "muh mexico"
allthough he knew that France wasnt ready he sperged out and declared war over a 19th century shitpost, truly a great man
France was still a great power until the mid-70's, not a superpower but a great power nevertheless
No. Would have been Cromwell tier bullshittery at best with that clown.
Diaz nunca haría eso, toda su política se trataba de complacer extranjeros.
Prefiero a españoles sobre los gringos, al menos ellos no exterminaron a la población nativa. Olvidas que somos mestizos.
Seems like a really insecure dude
The most overrated leader of the 20th century. Killed people for wearing clothes he didn't like and had absolutely horrendous economic policies.
The only great Frenchman post Louis XIV. The fact that his people were so quick to turn on him says everything you need to know about the nation.
I guess nowadays we have Trump vaporwave which is sort of analogous but that's just awesome art.

I'm not even ironic
The Shah was a US puppet.
*recaptures Jerusalem and the holy lands for Christendom*
*is condemned by the Pope for not asking permission first*
*papacy launches counter crusade against Frederick II*
The Papacy deliberately set back the Renaissance 300 years in its constant fights against any modernising or powerful king. Don't let these cosplaying wannabe 'Catholics' fool you, the papacy is a blight on mankind, and on Christendom in particular.
no, you're just retarded
marx hated him because he was able to appeal to upperclass, middleclass, abd peasants. absolutely based.
>Killed people for wearing clothes he didn't like
What?
>lost in Ethiopia and Eritrea
fucking loser, kill yourself fascist shill
Several people were executed by Ataturk for wearing traditional clothes.
Its hard to say. In light of recent developments it seems like hos project has failed. Im still waiting to see how long it takes to totally erase his legacy to the point where turkey is sultanate or sharia tier
nothing last forever. Considering secular liberalism is antithetical to the Turkish being it's a miracle that it last as long as it did.
Based, if you force your wife to wear this you deserve to go to the block desu.

Most women wear niqabs not because their husbands force them to, on the contrary, they are usually discouraged from wearing hijabs and niqabs by their male relatives.

>Italy was bad at war meme
Spotted the pop history plebs.
it's literally why the king deposed him in 1943 and hitler had to bail him out and made him a puppet in a puppet state
this desu
anyone who disagrees is a filthy zapatista
or a poor fag
Kek. This is definitely "how did they not realize they were the bad guys?" territory.
>Implying it's not true
Prove me wrong faggot. They could barely take over Ethiopia. Literally all they had to do to control the Mediterranean was take Malta and they couldn't even do that. Italy was Spain-tier and they didn't deserve Mussolini.
I know he's basically a meme and discussing him is played out, but remember that all of Europe had to put him down because he was too dangerous.
Think of what you could accomplish in today's world with his mind. Never mind his charisma, just his mind.
>Literally all they had to do to control the Mediterranean was take Malta
What is Sinai and Gibraltar?
>and they couldn't even do that
Beating the strongest nation on earth (British Empire) is not an easy task.
>Italy was Spain-tier
Complete meme. Italy was an up in coming nation since it's unification which never really got the chance to become the European colonial power is was in a position to be. I personally blame manpower drain. If millions of Italians had gone to Libya instead of America and Argentina that'd be Italian clay to this day.
It was necessary. He wanted to turn the Ottoman Empire into a new and truly European nation. Too bad he failed.
Benito was just a brute violent peasant.
Because they were unintentionally inventing the aesthetic of what 'fascism' looks like.
>This is definitely "how did they not realize they were the bad guys?" territory.
How do you figure? It's just Mussolini's face over Rome. IMO nothing looks "bad guy" about it. The style is futurism. Same with . It has a unique style because Italians are an artistic people.
>letting other men ogle your possessions
kys cuckold
>What is Sinai and Gibraltar?
Sinai could obviously have been taken via Africa, but again that's assuming the Italian military was competent enough to take Egypt, which it wasn't. Gibraltar wasn't really instrumental in controlling the Mediterranean so much as controlling who could get into or out of the Mediterranean. Malta was the real thorn in the side of the Axis as far as controlling the Mediterranean and taking Africa.
>Beating the strongest nation on earth (British Empire) is not an easy task.
This isn't even a fucking argument, you're just saying "lol Britain stronk". Taking Malta should have been Italy's first move in the war, but in reality Operation C3 wasn't seriously planned until after the invasion of Greece. And by that time the Germans were already stretched thin in Africa and wary of paratrooper operations after Crete. But the Italians wouldn't even need German paratroopers if they had gone after Malta in 1940.
In June 1940, the British had the following on Malta-
>3 Glouster Gladiators
>5 Fairey Swordfish
>1 monitor (HMS Terror) and 2 gunboats to defend Malta; the Med Fleet had withdrawn to Alexandria.
>19 heavy coastal guns (varying in size from 12-inch to 16-inch), 130 smaller coastal guns (4.5-inch to 9.2-inch), 112 heavy and 144 light anti-aircraft guns.
>42 anti-aircraft guns
>Garrison of 5 weeks of food supplies
At that time, Italy was capable of amphibious landings and they should have gone after Malta no matter the cost. Greece and Africa and Albania mean nothing, and they did mean nothing, if you can't choke the Brits out of the Med. And this is just one example of how completely incompetent the Italian military was. At the outbreak of hostilities, ~1/4 of Italy's merchant marine was in foreign ports and ended up being impounded. It's as if the military was making decisions on what to do day-to-day with no foresight into what could possible happen as a result of their actions.

>Complete meme. Italy was an up in coming nation since it's unification which never really got the chance to become the European colonial power is was in a position to be
That's probably better for them, looking at how Ethiopia went I'm not sure they'd be able to stand the humiliation.
> I personally blame manpower drain. If millions of Italians had gone to Libya instead of America and Argentina that'd be Italian clay to this day.
Based on what? Italy outnumbered the Allies in almost every major engagement it took part in independently. Egypt, Compass, Greece, etc were all failures. The only time they ever really had success was when the Germans were there to carry the team.
why do people worship Mussolini on this site?
Italy controlled and possessed way less resources than every single allied nation. Especially coal. Which The British empire had in abundance. It's like Japan in many ways, except the allies are right next door instead of a world away.
Chiang Kai-shek was somewhat of a twerp if Joseph Stilwell is to be believed.
Famous white fascist who isn't Hitler.
Ethiopia had Russians, British and French backing them. Italy won its other colonial battles.
Thanks for addressing what I've said
In the 1st war they only had material support and training from Russia. France was diplomatically aligned with the Russians and Ethiopians but they didn't physically do anything. The British supported the Italians.
I'm like 90% sure that Britain was fighting a proxy war with Italy in Africa over colonies. They kept in supplying Libyan rebels to harass the Italians who then built a series of border guards or something to stop weapon shipments.
Who is this?
The next you're going to say is "Men set the beauty standards for women; women have no control over other women as men have no control over other men."
Britain wanted Italy to win the 1st war against Ethiopia and Eritrea because they didn't want France to get ports on the Red Sea. The Brits actually helped the Italians by sabotaging arms shipments from Russia that were moving through British Egypt. It wasn't some weird case where "WAAH EVERYONES AGAINST ITALY". They were a colonial player like anybody else, but they were a pretty piss poor one.

Care to explain further how is economic policies were horrendous?
What's even worse then this is the Crusade that crippled the Byzantine Empire and then allowed for Muslims to infest Europe hundreds of years later...
I get the joke but it's out of place cuz Germans loved Hitler

As a Pole, I say his defeat was a bad thing to happen.
Stalin had what might be the most frightening gaze of all time.
