Houston, I have a problem

Houston, I have a problem.

Bought 250 BTC many years ago when they were worth less than 50 bucks. Then I moved twice in a few years, and forgot them. After reading news about BTC, I managed to recover the wallet, and it's now updating the database.

I live near Sorrento (Italy). I'm a NEET, occasionally taking part-time jobs, and my puny four-figure bank savings never grew more than 500 bucks at once. There's a pretty apartment in Sorrento, priced 660k€ (~$780k). I could definitely buy it and still have some BTCs spare. Owner doesn't even know what Bitcoin is.

I bet in a few weeks it'll be sold. I don't have much time left to convert my BTC assets to cash. And 0.7 million euros entering and exiting a NEET bank account will surely trigger many weird people.

This means I'm sitting on a lot of money I cannot spend. At least legally.

Bitpay, my boy. That way you never need to cash out.

Also, begging thread?

Please m'lord, a shilling for the mere serf.

How the fuck is this a problem?

Anyway this is good. The more people sell, the higher the price this coin can go. Even I have a sell point, most of us do.

Keep the BTC safe and close to you. I hear Italian banks are in pretty deep shit. Hope you make it there amigo.

Here, by the way, I might as well make it more accessible if I'm to beg for bitcoin.

When you buy directly with bitcoin, using BitPay, you never have to cash out. They handle the USD aspect.

You're worried about an appartment?
Apartments come and go OP,
Why not wait a few years until Bitcoin is $10,000 or so, you'll have some $2.5 million and can simply retire

Such bullshit, managed to spend 12,500$ on crypto but sure, never 'have more than 500 bucks at once'.

Show is the wallet address, you don't need to wait for it to sync. View online on a blockchain explorer.

Dont cash out, you will regret it in the future when bitcoin will rise and rise to like 10k or even more.

HOLD ON TO YOUR BTC YOU FUCKING IDIOT.

seriously wait a couple of years and you’ll be unimaginably wealthy.

If I woke up to this dream problem -- I would buy a few hardware wallets -- take % off the top and split it in to a few, then invest % of these bitcoins into diversified Crypto (eth, ltc, and a few other altcoins) using dollar cost averaging over a few weeks to get in at good price. Then hold/set/forget.

The remaining you could use a service like Local Bitcoin to literally sell btc for cash. I would do small amounts at first. Maybe use reddit and other online networks to trade services for btc. There is an entire thread of barters for ETH -- there must be one for BTC.

I am italian as you
There are no taxes on bitcoins, look it up yourself
You can transfer all of those on your bank account and no one would bat an eye

Non ci sono tasse su bitcoin se non per fini speculativi. Sono un NEET come te, ti lascio il mio indirizzo se mi vuoi lasciare un pizzico della tua fortuna.

Don't cash out all of it user. Talk to an accountant and withdraw enough for a comfy but not too expensive apartment. Pay your taxes and leave the rest in btc, it's going above $10k eventually.
You can also get a bitcoin debit card that's 100% compatible with visa and will get accepted anywhere a normal credit card is accepted if you want to stay off the grid

Also gib 0.01 btc pls

Personal reasons. The best thing that could occur to me now is moving to a new apartment and living alone.

BTW I cannot buy an apartment using Bitpay. "The BitPay Prepaid Visa® is a reloadable prepaid debit card, not a credit card."

This is good at a gas station or grocery store, not to buy a car or a house. At least here in Italy.

>The more people sell, the higher the price this coin can go

nigga what

The more people sell, the lower the price will go. You want a small supply so the high demand drives the price up. If lots of people are selling then the supply is high and the price will fall.

bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/man-accidentally-makes-13-million-buying-house-bitcoin/

My nigga! Bitpay is a payment processor. Contact them directly and set something up. They won't say no to money! and don't forget me when you're getting your sweet-ass apartment. I'm eating my 10th fucking can of lentil soup his week!

Seems like you forgot that every bank transfer of more than 12500€ gets automatically notified to the Guardia di Finanza. Especially if the account history never saw such values.

Tried to get in touch with them. Hope they won't think it smells fishy.

don't be a fucking idiot OP spending 750K on an apartment is the dumbest thing imaginable. tough it out for 3 more years and you'll be a multimillionaire never having to worry about shit again for life.

just rent a decent cheapish apartment for 15K-20K a year and hold those coins.

Can you say what would their problem be? You would literally say that you have this money from investing into bitcoins, there's nothing illegal here as far as i know?

Core said selling is value go up

this
Live thrifty for the next bit and keep your coin for 2 or 3 years

And gibs me pls 15yYxjW2yi97pBQ8WBuC3N8rAFhzcigTb7

I don't even want your bitcoins, but I'll take any spare bitcoin cash, plz

>I just discovered over 700,000 Eurocuckbucks I forgot I had!!!

>I'm gonna blow it all on a fucking apartment when there's a massive financial market correction coming in the next 3 years and the EU is unstable

God damn, I will never understand this shit.

Got some to spare good sir?

Talk to the guys at serpicoin exchange, they don't id check and are located in Switzerland, they know banking and how you can cash out...

You wont be able to spend it until you pay taxes on it.
If you spend all your money on that apt you'll still owe money to the tax man.

The sell low buy high technique

cex.io my friend, i use this to cash out to fiat, you verify your regular credit card and they deposit EUR directly, make sure to study the laws of italy on how much you cash cash out at once so you dont have to deal with taxes, good luck

As the saying goes, retards and their money...
Just let him blow it all in a liability.

it's been ten years this "correction" is going on. Yet $200k houses (real value) are still priced in the $350k-$500k range, dropping from $700k.

"Correction", to me, means getting at least at $200k again. And it won't happen in three years only.

Anyone mining Mooncoins?

Are apartments in bumfuck nowhere in Italy really this fucking expensive. With 600k euros you can buy a literal palace in Eastern Europe. How much are the houses, then? This socio economic climate can't continue, fucking unbelievable, bring on the crash already fucking Jews.

until you start executing central bankers it will continue

pls giv 0,01 btc thanks luv u

You'd be surprised by apartment prices in Rome, Milan, Turin, Naples. Seems like the bubble is not yet burst.

Wondering how many beggars posting in this thread actually got anything.

I'm just this direct and ask for some btc to spare for a poorfag that's trying to make his way in life.
1A9nGVoy43xaAUwpaYeA4qdr6yU7aror6k

Wow, I lost 5 bitcoin when I lost access to my wallet I can't even imagine how you felt prior to regaining access :/

But any spare btc for a poor college lad will be appreciated :)

Why don't send private keys per email to speed up transaction instead of transfer from wallet to wallet.
New owner of the key can then transfer it on his own to a new wallet.

Dont be stupid, op, you're stupid
cashing it all out at once is stupid, it's gonna alert every government all the way to japan

buying an apartment like that is stupid, it's gonna require a lot of expensive maintenance not to depreciate a lot and there is a fiat crisis underway, luxury shit devalues first

Dont get out of bitcoin in the middle of a bull run, stupid

You sound like those poor fucks who win the lottery and blow it all in a year
Think this through for at least a month

after reading your post i have come to the conclusion that the only way to protect safely convert your coins into cash is to send them to me and then i will send you the cash in a brown box in the mail.

then both of you get jailed

If I had a single coin, i'd donate to you guys. We're all in the same deep shit.

Once you get that wallet synced please get a hardware wallet or few 250 coins is way too much to not use a proper secure element to store your keys.

I recommend Ledger Blue and Ledger Nano S

Also get some cryptosteel to secure the initial seeds in case you lose the wallets, can never be too careful you know.

you should start a venture capital firm with that bitcoin, and use bitcoin only lol.

Didn't read the whole thread, so I don't know if you are larping or not, but here's something you can do:
Coinbase has special treatment for people who want to cash out a lot of money in one sum. Contact them directly, and explain your situation, that you suddenly need to cash out a lot. They will tell you how to proceed, but if I remember correctly they can be pretty efficient.
You can ask other exchanges too about this. They like the big fish.

About your bank: you can just walk in or call them and tell them beforehand that a lot of money is going to be arriving to your account. Tell them what it is (cashing out investment from BTC), and that's it. There is nothing wrong with transferring capital gains to your bank.

You can also try to offer the owner more for the apartment, and convince him to take the bitcoin. People like money.

Another thing that might be worth a try:
Coinbase is a bank. If you send your BTC to Coinbase and convert it to EUR/USD, maybe you can ask them to be able to send fiat directly to the apartment owners bank account with some verification. Maybe you can't do that I don't know. But I bet there is something like this somewhere. Or a btc/fiat escrow service person who can do the transfer for you.
I'm sorry if I'm incoherent, I'm so fucking tired, I just wanted to type this quick, maybe it helps.

Just about any exchange will have an OTC sales person for people who want to sell large amounts of coin without moving the price.

You could donate a BTC to me. I'm in debt because cancer isn't free and Obamacare sucks. However, my SO is cancer free, so it's blessing.

I send you my condolences. I have a similar problem, you see, I am a Nigerian Prince looking for help to access my $15 million fortune left to me. I offer a 20% interest return for a small deposit to help with legal fees
