Simple Question from a stupid guy to the universe

Simple Question from a stupid guy to the universe.

If one coin is offered for 1 satoshi and i say i will pay 10 satoshi for 1 coin. who will get the 9 satoshi which i overpaid?

what a stupid question that I also want to know the answer to

the same person who got the 1 satoshi.

so the overpaying always goes to the lowest offerer?

If i sell sticks of gum for 1.00 And you give me 5.00 and say keep the change...do you see now dumbass?

>If a farmer offers one apple for one dollar and I pay 10 dollars for the apple, who will get the remaining 9 dollars?

Jesus Christ are you 12 years old or something?

no, but i thought maybe the exchange platform takes the difference

your order will begin to fill the lowest asks on the orderbook

see pic related

If i put a buy limit at 100 sats, it would first buy at 89, then 90, then 91... until my order volume is completed

If I put a buy limit at 89 sats for 200k units, it would fill the 130k ask and then the remaining 70k would become the highest bid and you would see 70k buy show on the left side

To be fair he said he was a stupid guy

Does the taxman take the farmers entire 9 dollars?

thanks user
you did a great job

No the farmer gets all the money
Doofus just overpaid for apples

probably

i dont know how trustfully the exchange plattforms are.

See
The exchange still takes a cut of the exchange (around 0.02%). Same way the taxman takes a cut of the apple sale, point being taxman cut % is way higher.

oh god
I feel dumber just reading this thread
please OP, never have children

and if i sell for 60 satoshi and someone is asking it for 100 i will get the 40 satoshi, or is he getting it for 40 less?

you get whats on the orderbook, you fucking idiot, and thats all he pays

Ok fine

HAHAHAHHAHA YOU FUCKING RETARDHAHAH
