What side would you join?

What side would you join?

Communist revolutionaries in the Central Powers or Western Europe to be honest

Probably Sweden, or Portugal.

Maroc spagnol.

What really is the difference ideologically between the two? Seems like really all you're choosing is what language you want to speak when you're sitting in the trench.

Both France and Germany look better with Alsace-Lorraine controlled by France, otherwise they just look like blobs.
So, probably France.

Why though?

My great-granddad fought for a rebel movement aligned with the central powers (Irish Republican Brotherhood) so maybe I'd fight on the same side as him
I'm guessing that you didn't know Portugal joined the Aliies and their troops had a *really* shit time on the western front. Because they didn't have as many men as Britain or France they couldn't afford to rotate them as frequently, so if you were in the Portuguese army in 1918 you could literally be stuck at the front line for weeks or even months

A chance to contribute to ending the war sooner, costing less lives, resources, and infrastructure and generally making Europe a fairer and better place.

Central Powers or bust.

Entente was only a means of getting the established order to alleviate some colonial tension between themselves.

And even then they further divied up the world between them.

>Irish Republican Brotherhood
Treatyfag

As a grunt I`d fight for the UK because its my country.
If I actually had any power strategically, I`d go for Germany, since well it would be easier to fight for the side I know is going to loose in the normal timeline. And it would be easier to gain historical recognition, also I just kind of like the German Empire.

Portugal joined the Allies later on. That map isn't accurate.
A better answer would be Spain.

Russians. Gotta save Nicky.

>native English speaker
>using grave accents instead of apostrophes
??

Monarchism/belle epoque conservatism vs liberalism

Russia so I can kill some commies.

The fight to end classcuckery is the only real fight.

They weren't even communist yet. In fact you'd want to join the Russians in that case, as you could fight for the loyalists against the commies.

I'd probably join the Germans. I'm a pilot, so I could probably become a fighter pilot for them. Maybe even fight alongside the Red Baron.

>implying working for the commissar is any better than working for a capitalist

Join a neutral country and use my future knowledge to produce groundbreaking weapons and sell them to both sides

That's pretty jewish of you user.

Bitch Fuck your Marxist Leninism, I'd be fighting for Rosa.

>a better place
>by supporting communism
brainlet detected

Italy so that I can betray everyone and still not lose

>Liberalism
>Russian Empire

>and still not lose

Literally what history books have you been reading? The Italians in both world wars are the textbook definition of pic related.

Yeah uh well you can thank frenchfags and Wily 2 the sperg for the reactionaries not banding up in the ultimate alliance

>implying your special snowflake socialism would turn out any different

German Empire. Fuck the English, and fuck the Tzars. Germany could've brought Eastern Europe back to being plentiful in national identity, but the Brits just had to fuck it all up by carving up Germany and giving it all to Poland because why have the strongest military in the world be in charge of the bulwark of capitalism, amirite?

You can thank Alexander III and his disgusting francophilia.

Fuck Prussia, Austria and Russia.

Predictable response

Predictable results

And not a single one of them socialist :)

I know it's a joke but I'll never get tired of that meme.

Wtf why the fuck is Portugal marked

Well maybe Cuba and Burkina Faso. But the US and France fucked them over before they could ever reach their actual potential. Funny how Burkina Faso isn't on the map either, pretty shit to be honest.

>"The Constituent Assembly affirms the Portuguese people's decision to (...) open up a path towards a socialist society"
That's how wikipedia justifies it.

>Burkina Faso
>banned workers unions
>took away free press
>had paramilitary squads attacking opposition
>was an unelected dictator
I'm sorry, are we talking about a fascist, or a socialist here? See, most socialist tell me that true socialism is where the workers own the means of production, yet all I see is a mostly benevolent dictator who had the aesthetics of communism.

Entente, the Austro Hungarian empire was a series of wooden planks held together with glue and string, politically, Italy as a modern nation doesn't have a large military history post unification, and are a bit lacking in reosurces, meanwhile Britain's got the largest navy on earth, useful for cutting off trade for italy in the mediterranian, and cutting off germany supply around the mainland, Russia forces Germany to be in a two front war, and puts military pressure on the pollitically fragile AH empire.

If it were in my dreams, i'd like to see AH become less reliant on germany and join the Entente, something it could've rather easily done considering it's lack of colonial ambitions, a united balkan state would go a great ways in making the region more economically and geopolitically powerful than it currently is.

Define "fascist"

>yet all I see is a mostly benevolent dictator who had the aesthetics of communism.
You should try talking to Tankies

Does Italy actually join the Central Powers this tie around?
