Was Yugoslavia under Tito almost heaven on earth?

No, and it was only upheld by foreign support.

My dad talked about eating at the finest restaurants and buying a car just from going fishing during the summer and being a NEET for the rest of the year. His alternative was moving to Sarajevo to work in a kiosk with a complimentary free commie bloc apartment.

I guess they did some things right.

...

Certain benefits were available, provided you were in the Party or just out of politics altogether. And while they were better than ever before (and better than many countries have it today when it comes to social security), socialist economy led to stagnation which ultimately led to the collapse.
True, socialism improved the standards in the republics (lifting many parts of the south from basically medieval levels) but it did so at a cost of stagnating the developed part (which would ultimately still come out on top in the end, however) and in the end, the failure of socialism is what led to the "cut" and a fast turn to capitalism. There's no saying how much better the country would develop if socialism never took over.

>have the technology and resources to house and feed all ppl on earth
>nonono you cant do that, you have to a do a soulkilling job and indept yourself forever for it

capitalism is outdated, why isnt there a new type of economy reflecting on our advancements

because

For one that would lead to shitty moral breakdown and violent repercussions.
Second because capitalists (read: anglos, jews, & arabs) want to keep milking the prole for shekels

It was very good as far as commie shitholes go, but it was all running on western loans. Western banks were pumping money into Yugoslavia because they were anti-Soviet.

>there will be no soul killing jobs in the global commune everyone will just 420 and chill and watch Netflix and all those rational africans and Arabs will finally start using birth control

It's a myth, pushed by people who've been through hard times in the 90s.
Unemployment was huge, to reduce it they literally sent people to work in west Germany. A large chunk of the economy was money sent by those workers in Germany to their family back home.
In fact the net consumption is almost the same as it is today.
You can still build your own house here, but people getting an apartment is a lie. You had a pay deduction, and you had to either gamble or bribe people to get an apartment. You see, the company would hand out apartments to workers that qualified by their current living conditions. And when those bad conditions were met, they'd chose who gets the apartment.
My mom paid into the apartment fund all her life and got nothing out of it.
Almost all companies were in massive debt and couldn't afford amortization.
If it was such heaven on earth, then why did so many people go to West Germany?
That story is nothing more than a fabrication of people who've gone through bombs, wars, hyperinflations, pyramid schemes etc.
Heck, one of the reasons for the breakup of Yugoslavia was the Agrokomerc affair, in which many politicians were involved. They basically paid workers in IOUs for years and got away with it.

A lot of nostalgia for the socialist regimes comes from knowing what happened after they collapsed, especially in Yugoslavia, but also simple nostalgia for youth.

Same with Russia. People missed the USSR not because the USSR was good (it wasn't), but because the 90s were a complete disaster full of prostitution, unemployment, mafia, drugs and war. Younger people who don't really remember the 90s don't really give a shit about the USSR either.

they are breeding like rats because they are dumb, religion forbids some of them from birth control, when your only way of fun is pooning theres gona be alot of kids, educate them and theyll stop

>IQ comes from education
"No."

>People missed the USSR not because the USSR was good (it wasn't), but because the 90s were a complete disaster full of prostitution, unemployment, mafia, drugs and war.
well maybe the USSR wasn't so horrible for certain things after all huh?

Modern Russia > USSR > 90s Russia

Modern Russia still seems shady as fuck to me, jailing the opposition for protesting is just completely unethical, is a campaign not a prolonged protest against the opposition?

better than outright not allowing opposition

Meanwhile you'd disappear and end up in a gulag for a decade if you opened your mouth back in the Soviet union

It's better than it once was, that's for sure.

>getting bullshitted by the western media

it literally does you dumb brown pol mule

IQ is mostly genetic, stop acting dumb.

>everyone had a job

Yugoslavia under Tito had a 20% unemployment rate - the highest in Europe at that time.

"Capitalism" is the reason we have the technology and resources to house and feed all ppl on earth in the first place.

That doesn't contradict the fact that IQ comes from education.

Thing is you don't have those resources. And when you get that, people will want more. And you have even less of those resources.
Resources are scarce.

Actually yes it very much contradicts it. What is innate is by definition not learned.

how american of you
ever heard of feudalism?

economics develop just like your human mind supposed to

Only 90s kids

So, modern levels for many EU states post globalization and mass migration?

Uh the communist regime in Yugoslavia killed one million people. Read Rummel.

Economic development is a recent phenomenon. Worldwide economic growth started only a couple of centuries ago.

IQ is partially innate and partially learned, no one denies this. The question is whether it is more innate than learned.

The GULAGs were shrunk drastically in the mid 1950s and were cut out in 1960.
