They threw away any claim of being "Good Guys" when they stepped foot in Poland, the Netherlands and Denmark. No Hitler didn't invade any of these countries because there were German's in trouble or being oppressed, he had to do so because the German economy would've collapsed if he hadn't and all of Germany and Europe paid for this gamble.

Also invading Russia didn't help, if he hadn't shit on the people of the land he occupied so much, they probably would've been more inclined to help them out in his fight against communism.
