Did the Germans actively go after Poles and other slavs or was it typically just Jews they would go after?

Did the Soviets forge the pictures of camps liberated by American and British forces too?

About 25% of the population of Poland died during WW2.

This was from a combination of all of the Polish Jews getting killed, any Pole that the Germans or Russians considered politically unreliable in any way getting liquidated, the hunger plan, slave labor, and civilian reprisals in reaction to partisan attacks.

So while there wasn't a genocide per se, there were tens of millions of civilians killed across Eastern Europe during the period.

Poles were also genocided, including gas chambers and mass executions. Jews were top priority thought, Poles were to be killed off later.

Poles were also imprisoned and marked. Just differently.
The biggest victims were Jews but don't think they were the only target.

Most people who deny the holocaust do so out of some sort of hatred towards Jews not because they see it as implausible or illogical, the only evidence they use is shitty shops from stormfront.

It's physically impossible to watch The Greatest Story Never Told and still side with the Jews. I honestly had no issue with Jews or any reason to deny the Holocaust. Germans tried to kill every Pole who had any education. The idea was that Poles were to live just as long as Germany needed them for unskilled labor. Later on, they were to be killed off entirely. The Germans prepared thoroughly for the task, and lists of educated Poles to be killed were prepared for years before the war began.

The Germans were largely successful in killing off the Polish elites. After the war there were so severe shortages of educated people that peasants became judges or engineers after two-year courses. Even today the devastating effects of Poland's losing its elites are clearly visible. It was something that ripped the Polish society in half.

As far as I know one Polish historian (Jastrzebski) wrote that Poles did revenge killings on civilians in response to Selbschutz activities. Jastrzebski was accused of professional dishonesty because he dismissed several documents which were in disagreement with his theory. Jastrzebski also wrote that the German minority lost 350 persons, which include all causalities also those who died in the German bombardment that took a lot more of Polish lives.
