Why does Islam have so many fanatics?

Burn a Bible and Christians will be mad, they'll even curse the person doing it, but in the end they know Jesus is their bro and that's all that matters.

Burn a Quran and Muslims are ready to inflict violence.

You would get stoned to death or beheaded for destroying a bible here.

Where?

Well Christians have inflicted acts of terrorism upon those they consider heretics, example being those cinemas in france bombed because they showed 'The Last temptation of christ'.

In terms of Islam, they get really offended because to them The Holy Quran is The word of God, it is the The Word.

turn the left cheek

The Bible and the Quran have fundamentally different roles in their respective religions. In Christianity, the core miracle of the religion is Christ becoming man to suffer and redeem the sins of the earth, with the Bible being merely an ad hoc compilation of His deeds + the deeds of the prophets before Him. In Islam, the core miracle is the existence of the Quran, which they believe to have been sent directly to Muhammad from god via Gabriel. Muhammad is just the last (and most important) of a series of prophets, not the messiah.

Christians don't like to get their hands dirty but actually they are just as vindictive as Moslems. Somehow I appreciate the openly violent polemic of the moslems more than the passive aggressive and often coy rhetoric of Christian fundamentalists.

Because the only way they think they can get into heaven, for sure, is to die in jihad.

Any other way and you're at allah's mercy. Catch him on a good day, and you're fine; be the best person on earth and catch allah on a bad day, and you go to hell.

They don't have a religion per se; they have a total system of control that's built around devil worship. They discourage anyone but native Arabic speakers to read the quran, and if they do not agree with the majority even then, they are murdered.

Liars, thieves, and murderers, the lot of them.

Sometimes it amazes me that there are people like this who are 24/7 ready to shitpost about certain topics.

Christians don't believe the printed Bible, itself, to be divine. You don't generally see veneration of the Bible in Christianity, but there is veneration of the Qur'an in Islam.

Also, at least in the West, very few Christians still retain any sense of the holy. They are generally unconcerned about what goes on in worship, women no longer cover their heads, men no longer remove their hats/head coverings, priests/ministers are no longer to afraid to give whatever little opinion they have on everything under the sun under the guise of the preaching of God's Word, and everyone, even the most devoted Christians, constantly uses the Lord's name in vain. Much of traditional as well as fundamentalist Islam very strictly instills a sense of sacredness in the objects of the faith that Christians no longer possess.

That, and Christianity has a much stronger emphasis on forgiveness and forbearance than is typical in Islam (at least where things like the Qur'an go).

But then again, you have Christians who think that not having idols of Jesus or the Ten Commandments on government lawns, or not being allowed to refuse to do business with someone because they're gay, or not being allowed to instill Christian doctrine at public schools, are violations of "religious freedom" to be stamped out by force by the state. So yeah, we've got 'em, they just take a different form than the Muzzies do.

Because Christians were doing it for hundreds of years and moved on with Enlightenment Age, as ruling class stopped believing in religion. For Muslims the process is being much faster and despite to many secular governments established in 20th Century, transformation of societies were not fast enough with the changes in the world. If Arab Spring or any other American Shit didn't occur in Muslim World, the process would be complete around 2050 or so. Now the process is broken, and I don't even know if it is possible to reverse it with durka governments in power nowadays.

Muslim faithful are responsible for the self-serving conflation of spirituality and religion.

Ironically, such a commitment of faith, such a conscious decision to believe in the absolute truth of what is never more than a paradigm, is the source of the uncertainty that plagues the faithful; the genesis of their sense of estrangement from truth.

Muslims rage because of their helplessness; faith cannot transform the paradigmatic into the absolute.

Islam hasn't had their equivalent of The Enlightenment yet. I doubt it will ever occur.

>Why does Islam have so many fanatics?

Because the Qur'an is written by a psychopathic terrorist and the people who run Islamic culture teach everyone in Islam to be psychopaths from a young age.

Ultimately almost all Abrahamics are "infidels" with the exception of Jesus freaks who couldn't give half a shit what Moses says is "holy."

Christians were doing the same thing a few hundred years ago.

Check out the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre. Or the Crusades. Or witch burnings. Or the Inquisition.

The only difference is there's tv cameras now.

Many of the so-called fanatics aren't at all well-versed in Islam, or are violent for other reasons. For example. much of ISIS' strength came from remnants of Saddam's army after it was thrown out by the U.S.-backed Shia Iraqi government. They were used to violence and privilege, so they turned to violence to regain its privileges via conquest, by joining (Western?) Iraq's former al-Qaeda division gone rogue. "Religion of peace" is of course nothing but pure bullshit, but many decades of foreign imperialism, aggression, and funding of extremist groups will naturally lead to a certain resentment and violent resistance. The Arab world has also been moving much closer to secular values in the 20th Century due to the more secular West's influence, and that provokes many into becoming more obnoxiously fundamentalist in response, and leads them to take up arms. As for people of Arab ancestry born in Western countries who symphasize of fight for ISIS, it's mainly about alienation, not religion.
