Nor do Trinitarians.

It's a paradox. He is all of them simultaneously yet each of them individually

water has three states
water vapor, liquid water, and ice
each are unique, but all of them are water

You're not meant to be able to get it.

The whole point is that god is outside our universe. He sees all at once and all that jazz.

The trinity is flawed, because it's the best way that human minds can interpret and understand something outside the universe. It's literally 'trying to understand a cosmic horror without going insane'.

but this is not correct, the trinity is not supposed to be 3 different manifestations of the same autonomous entity, but 3 different autonomous entities that are all god, while not being different gods

what is the problem of universals

>1438
>falling for the trinitarian meme

that means there are 3 different trees, but there are no 3 gods acording to the doctrine

...

This is Lovecraft-tier shit.

Think of it this way.
>God = 4 sided shape
>The son = trapezoid
>The father = rectangle
>The spirit = some other 4 sided shape
God manifests as these three things (separately), yet a rectangle is not a trapezoid. Yet all 3 forms are 4 sided. And 3 four sided shapes are the ONLY shapes that can be 4 sided in the universe (aka only one god).

So like the Hindus? Several different persons, but are all the same being.

There's nothing to get. The point of the Trinity is not to understand the Trinity but to accept what you're told by the Church. Of course the Trinity doesn't make sense, that's not what the Church is looking for though, they expect obedience and acceptance. It's a similar struggle Jews have trying to rationalize or in understanding God - they find that they can't and they just have to accept the unacceptable.

It's 3 persons forming one entity what's not to get.

Except there is no such thing as a tree.

There are thousands of completely distinct plants that we group into a single, arbitrary category because they're large and vaguely woody.

what is it that jews can't understand about god?

What if God has multiple personality disorder? That way there is one God, but there are three persons and they are all god? Is that a heresy?

Everything, the reason Rabbis are still a thing in Judaism is because they spend most of their time arguing with other Rabbis/Scholars about the nature of God, Man and their relationship.

No it's 3 persons that distinct but of the same entity simultaneously being the one entity but not.

I don't understand why this shit was invented in the first place. Can't God just be God, the perfect being that can't be really understood by human beings with our imperfect understanding of the universe? Why should it be three different things that literally go against basic logic?

Something something we can't know nuthin.
>tl;dr trying to be deep, but coming off as stupid to everyone else

Looks like a fidget spinner.

This guy is the only way that made any sense of the doctrine.

Spoilers: There is also a 4th part of the trinity

Spoilers: There is also an evil trinity: consisting of the Satan, the AntiChrist, the Unholy Spirit, and the devil's wife (who has not yet been revealed). Togeather this 4 form the being called "Devil"

It's really not that difficult:

Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the catholic faith. Which faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled; without doubt he shall perish everlastingly. And the catholic faith is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity; Neither confounding the Persons; nor dividing the Essence. For there is one Person of the Father; another of the Son; and another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one; the Glory equal, the Majesty coeternal. Such as the Father is; such is the Son; and such is the Holy Ghost. The Father uncreated; the Son uncreated; and the Holy Ghost uncreated. The Father unlimited; the Son unlimited; and the Holy Ghost unlimited. The Father eternal; the Son eternal; and the Holy Ghost eternal. And yet they are not three eternals; but one eternal. As also there are not three uncreated; nor three infinites, but one uncreated; and one infinite. So likewise the Father is Almighty; the Son Almighty; and the Holy Ghost Almighty. And yet they are not three Almighties; but one Almighty. So the Father is God; the Son is God; and the Holy Ghost is God. And yet they are not three Gods; but one God. So likewise the Father is Lord; the Son Lord; and the Holy Ghost Lord. And yet not three Lords; but one Lord.

For like as we are compelled by the Christian verity; to acknowledge every Person by himself to be God and Lord; So are we forbidden by the catholic religion; to say, There are three Gods, or three Lords. The Father is made of none; neither created, nor begotten. The Son is of the Father alone; not made, nor created; but begotten. The Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son; neither made, nor created, nor begotten; but proceeding. So there is one Father, not three Fathers; one Son, not three Sons; one Holy Ghost, not three Holy Ghosts. And in this Trinity none is before, or after another; none is greater, or less than another. But the whole three Persons are coeternal, and coequal. So that in all things, as aforesaid; the Unity in Trinity, and the Trinity in Unity, is to be worshipped. He therefore that will be saved, let him thus think of the Trinity.

Furthermore, it is necessary to everlasting salvation; that he also believe faithfully the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. For the right Faith is, that we believe and confess; that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man; God, of the Substance [Essence] of the Father; begotten before the worlds; and Man, of the Substance [Essence] of his Mother, born in the world. Perfect God; and perfect Man, of a reasonable soul and human flesh subsisting. Equal to the Father, as touching his Godhead; and inferior to the Father as touching his Manhood. Who although he is God and Man; yet he is not two, but one Christ. One; not by conversion of the Godhead into flesh; but by assumption of the Manhood into God. One altogether; not by confusion of Substance [Essence]; but by unity of Person. For as the reasonable soul and flesh is one man; so God and Man is one Christ; Who suffered for our salvation; descended into hell; rose again the third day from the dead. He ascended into heaven, he sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from whence he will come to judge the living and the dead. At whose coming all men will rise again with their bodies; And shall give account for their own works. And they that have done good shall go into life everlasting; and they that have done evil, into everlasting fire. This is the catholic faith; which except a man believe truly and firmly, he cannot be saved.

>mfw prottie, so don't have to worry about "heresy"
Feels good, man.

Thats modalism, so it's incorrect. (Considering what the church has told us)

>the """""""church"""""""

It's a Protestant video. Did you not notice the "Lutheran Satire" username?

Unlike the c*tholics, we're not one unified people, but many.

Said no Protestant ever. Protestants believe that there is one Church, just that in various circumstances the Church Militant will be disparate.

Protestants aren't Anabaptists.

Okay so at my Roman Catholic school we were taught that Jesus was part of god but also his own thing (like cutting off your hand and a new person grows out of it)

But we were also taught that the hilt spirit was basically just a term for god

Do they teach people that the Holy Spirit is its own thing too? I've always wondered that when hearing it but we never actually learned about it in school other than it was just a blanket term for god and his holy powers

Whatever you were taught, it wasn't Catholic doctrine. It's unsurprising though, the RCC has been fucking pathetic at educating and disciplining its adherents. It's why I suggest that the Catholic Church is actually several religions all under the guise of one. Until she starts disciplining and excommunicating those who aren't actually Catholic, she'll always be a joke, and it's laughable when she complains about diversity in Protestantism.

No, because Hindu avatars are sub gradients/manifestations etc. And not the "whole" essence of God like all the parts of the Trinity.
